It's the MOON!
Located in Arkansas, USA, Shire Post Mint is a small, family-run coining business. Although they produce a wide range of other items, their specialty is licensed fantasy coinage.
When Tom Maringer purchased his first antique coin press in 2001, Shire Post Mint was born. These are the same methods that were employed in the 1800s and earlier for manually engraving steel dies and pressing them one at a time.
We hand engrave steel dies, harden those, mount them in antique coin presses, and strike the designs into solid metals. We engrave, strike, finish, package, and ship our coins in our West Fork, Arkansas workshop to have full control over the process.
Take a look at this!
MOON Silver Coin (Round)
From the above material that came with the silver round:
The Earth's only Moon features a geographically (technically selenographically) correct 91,196,160:1 scale design of both its near and far side.
The far side of the Moon is often referred to as the "dark side of the Moon" simply because we can't see it.
From Earth, we can only see one face of the Moon due to a phenomenon know as "tidal locking".
The dark areas that we see on the Moon are massive basalt "seas". The light areas are highland mountains.
The supermoon, blue moon, and sturgeon moon are among of the names for August's full moon.
The next Blue Moon will occur on Aug.19, 2024, at 2:26 p.m. ET (1826 GMT).1
The term "super" describes how this month's orbit brings the moon a little bit closer to Earth, increasing its size and brightness. The term "blue" denotes the uncommon fact that this is the third of four full moons this season. Regarding "sturgeon," it's the term used by Native Americans to describe the full moon in August.
According to NASA, a blue moon occurs about every two or three years on average; however, a blue moon that coincides with a supermoon is much less common. Although the typical interval between super blue moons is often 10 years, they can occur as frequently as every 20 years. January 2037 will mark the next super blue moon.
