Battle rules
Symbol | Rule Effect |
---|---|
All Monsters have the Opportunity ability, will target lowest hp units |
Total Mana : 16
Usable elements : Fire, Water, Life and Dragon
The low mana cost does limit what units can be used but opportunity is a pretty strong ruleset allows melee units to attack from anywhere as well which can be quite useful.
Team Composition
Card | Role | Reason |
---|---|---|
Summoner | Tarsa chosen to buff the Melee damage and HP of the units to be used since the mana amount is quite small, units will most likely have low HP values unless you invest in a higher mana cost unit | |
Challenge Star, Shield, Main tank | Antoid Platoon, the star of the challenge, its shield ability is quite valuable in low mana battle since most low mana units damage values are quite low resulting in a higher chance to negate damage with its shield ability. | |
Low Cost, Melee Damage, Armor Breaker | Radiated Scorcher with its armor break and low cost it really fits well into the team since its going to get buffed by Tarsa having more units will be better since there are more target to be hit and more damage dealt | |
Melee Damage, Armor | Uraeus has 2 Melee Damage off the bat, which becomes 3 after getting buffed and has armor making it a pretty strong unit to use in low mana battles, since armor can block fatal damage from being taken | |
Blast,Melee Damage | Exploding Rats, a Key player in this team with its blast ability being quite key has high speed as well and during this opportunity ruleset it has a very high chance to attack first to deal quite a strong blow to the opponent team since it will target the lowest hp unit and with blast will affect the surrounding units as well | |
Filler, Zero Cost | Scorch Fiend, a zero cost unit a no brainer to be used in low mana battles on hindsight should have place this one slot in front to maybe protect the exploding rat from being killed first but it was another ruleset such as super sneak this is the optimal position since it will be the sneak shield. |
Now on to the Battle
Round 1
My team had more attacker overall which benefits from the summoner buff as they were all melee units and as planed the exploding rat got the first hit off damaging multiple units which greatly tilt the battle in my favor since they do not have many units in the battle anyway, sadly it did not manage to target the middle of their team to deal more damage since they placed their lowest hp unit at the end.
Round 2 to The End
Strategy Talk
The strategy required a ruleset which allowed melee units to be able to attack from anywhere else the results would have been different since the living lava has shield as well and if they play a unit that could decrease my team's melee damage to 1 point it would have crippled my team since my team damage overall is low and shield units can negate attack values of 1.
Antoid Platoon is basically the lower cost version of living lava, however if you do reduce their damage with a unit with demoralize living lava would still most likely be able to do damage though the shield ability while the Antoid Platoon would not since its base damage is quite low.
Antoid Platoon works better in low mana fights since the restriction on mana normally results in weaker enemy increasing the chance to negate damage, works well if paired with a demoralizer since the shield ability can negate the damage if you reduce the enemy attack to 1 Damage.
Good ruleset to use in:
Ruleset | Explanation |
---|---|
Equal Opportunity | Works well on the condition its a low mana fight |
Melee Mayhem | Higher rate of melee units used, shield ability works well |
Lost Magic | Removes the weakness of shield units |
Equalizer | More Hp makes shield units work better |
Weak Magic | Armor protect against magic well gives its a longer life so it works |
Reverse Speed | It speed is low so higher dodge chance so at least its something |
Super Sneak | Can be place at the back to use its shield to act as a sneak shield |
