Hey there Splinterfam! Welcome to my Social Media Challenge, today we're going to do a recap of all our activities in the modern format, as well as our performance in these last 2 Brawls. Finally, we'll take a look at the Halloween theme that Splinterlands has proposed to us in cards and mainly in loot chests. Let's get started!
Que tal Splinterfam! Bienvenidos a mi Social media challenge, hoy vamos hacer un resumen de todas nuestras actividades en el formato moderno, así como nuestro desempeño en estas últimas 2 Brawls. Por último le daremos un vistazo a la temática de Halloween que nos ha propuesto Splinterlands en cartas y principalmente en los cofres de botín. Comencemos!
The end of the season was quite interesting, this time we managed to get to Gold I! It's the first time I've gotten this far and the most important thing is that I got it playing with my own cards and without resorting to rentals. This was possible thanks to the reward soulbound cards, my Chaos Legion cards and my Gladius cards, together these 3 card collections make our deck highly competitive in the gold league.
El final de temporada fue bastante interesante en esta ocasión logramos llegar hasta Oro I! Es la primera vez que he llegado tan lejos y lo más importante es que lo conseguí jugando con mis propias cartas y sin recurrir a los alquileres. Esto fue posible gracias a las soulbound de recompensa, mis cartas Chaos Legion y mis cartas Gladius, juntas estas 3 colecciones de cartas hacen que nuestro mazo sea altamente competitivo en la liga de oro.
One of the updates that were introduced in the game were loot chests when moving up a league and our reward when reaching the gold league were 6 major chests and 9 minor ones. It's a nice incentive since they removed the league restrictions basically the game has felt bland from a progression standpoint since beyond token glints and sps there was no other incentive to play.
Una de las actualizaciones que fueron introducidas en el juego fueron cofres de botín al subir de liga y nuestra recompensa al llegar a la liga de oro fueron 6 cofres mayores y 9 menores. Es un buen incentivo ya que eliminaron las restricciones de liga básicamente el juego se ha sentido insípido desde el punto de vista de la progresión, ya que más allá de los token glints y sps no había ningún otro incentivo para jugar.
An interesting initiative, I personally am not spending my glints on loot chests, it seems to me a waste of potions and tokens on chests with a high randomness and that in 80% of cases it has mediocre content. However, I celebrate this epic card that would be the first of this rarity for the Rebellion edition.
Una iniciativa interesante, yo en lo particular no estoy gastando mis glints en cofres de botín, me parece un desperdicio de pociones y tokens en cofres con una elevada aleatoriedad y que en el 80% es un contenido mediocre. Sin embargo celebro esta carta épica que sería la primera de esta rareza para la edición Rebellion.
Balance Brawls
Precisely yesterday we finished another cycle of clan battles. We were fortunate to come first in these last 2 battles and luckily for me, although I did not have the performance I would have liked, I achieved this result without renting high-end cards, so that is quite an achievement!
Precisamente ayer terminamos un ciclo más de las batallas de clanes. Tuvimos la fortuna de quedar de primeros en estas 2 ultimas batallas y para mi suerte aunque no tuve el rendimiento que hubiera querido, este resultado lo logré sin alquilar cartas de alta gama así que eso tiene bastante mérito!

With an accumulated amount of more than 17,000 merits we decided to buy 8 Gladius packs, but this time we didn't spend any money on bloodstones since my main interest is to raise my common and rare gladius as quickly as possible. These cards need a large number of copies to get them to the top of the gold league, so the more we can open gladius packs, the faster we will reach that goal.
Con un acumulado de más de 17000 méritos decidimos comprar 8 Gladius packs, pero en esta ocasión no gastamos en bloodstones ya que mi mayor interés es subir lo más rápidamente posible mis gladius comunes y raras. Estas cartas para llevarlas al tope de la liga de oro requiere de gran cantidad de copias así que mientras más podamos abrir paquetes gladius, más rápido llegaremos a esa meta.
Featured Battles/Batallas Destacadas
Among our best Brawls battles is this one that was particularly high risk! I wanted to push the Void Dragon's capabilities to the limit by increasing its stats as much as possible with the martyr cards Vruz and Firecaller, taking advantage of the ruleset that revives them we would be talking about a X4 increase of all the Void Dragon's stats making it a difficult target to hit either with melee, ranged or magic attacks.
Entre nuestras mejores batallas Brawls esta esta que particularmente fue de alto riesgo! Quería llevar al límite las capacidades del Void Dragon incrementando sus estadísticas lo más posible con las cartas mártires Vruz y Firecaller, aprovechando la ruleset que los revive estaríamos hablando de un incremento de X4 de todas las estadísticas del Void Dragon haciéndolo un objetivo difícil de hacer blanco ya sea con ataques melé, rango o mágicos.
In this second battle I wanted to share it with you, because it is my strategy to deal with the annoying Yodin Zaku since several friends in the game have asked me how to defeat him like my dear @mirlenyjerez who is always wanting to learn new strategies. Here what I did was contain all the power of the blast first attracting all the attacks towards Agor Longtail and second containing its damage with Oshuur and its Reflection Shield ability while the rest of our lineup destroys the opponent.
En esta segunda batalla si he querido compartirla con ustedes, porque es mi estrategia para lidiar con el molesto Yodín Zaku ya que varios compas en el juego me han preguntado como derrotarlo como mi estimada @mirlenyjerez que siempre esta queriendo aprender nuevas estrategias. Aquí lo que hice fue contener todo el poder del blast primero atrayendo todos los ataques hacia Agor Longtail y segundo conteniendo su daño con Oshuur y su habilidad Reflection Shield mientras el resto de nuestra alineación destroza al oponente.

Finally Relenor Cleaver Level 5! I needed this card precisely at this level that learns the Inspire ability, its low speed is ideal for the ruleset reverse speed what I need now is a good tank like Sea Wreck to build a good vanguard. I think it is a plausible goal now that I already have this gladius lvl 5.

Progress with life class/Progreso con la clase vida
Our first level 3 legendary gladius!! This has been a great surprise I thought it would take more time before achieving this feat. This is a card that I use very frequently, particularly in low mana games or also combining it with Mana Warden and Agor Longtail/Iziar now at level 3 it increases the maximum life of all allies by +1.
Nuestra primera gladius legendaria nivel 3!! Esto ha sido una gran sorpresa pensé que pasaría más tiempo antes de lograr esta hazaña. Esta es una carta que uso con muchísima frecuencia, particularmente en paridas de bajo mana o tambien combinandolo con Mana Warden y Agor Longtail/Iziar ahora en nivel 3 nos aumenta la vida máxima a todos los aliados en +1.
Halloween theme and pumpkin loot chests/Temática Halloween y cofres de botín de calabazas
The most notable news this week has been 3 Halloween-related skins for 3 particular cards: Kelya Frendul, Venari Marksrat and Uraeus. What I find strange is that these skins, although it is clear that they are temporary, I find it strange that they have only been limited to 3 cards from the Chaos Legion edition when the most expected is that they were Rebellion. However, they are very good, my favorite is Uraeus.
La noticia más destacable esta semana ha sido 3 skins relacionadas con Halloween para 3 cartas particulares: Kelya Frendul, Venari Marksrat y Uraeus. Lo que me extraña es que estas skins si bien es claro que son temporales, me extraña que solo se hayan limitado a 3 cartas de la edición Chaos Legion cuando lo mas esperable es que fueran Rebellion. Sin embargo están muy bien, mi favorita es Uraeus.
This is something that I have already repeated many times, Splinterlands has an exceptional art section and I find it hard to understand why they do not take advantage of that talent to sell, instead of cards, skins from at least the modern format editions to start with. It would be a way to make the game more attractive to new players.
Esto es algo que ya he repetido muchas veces, Splinterlands tiene un excepcional apartado de arte y me cuesta entender porque no aprovechan ese talento para sacar la venta en lugar de cartas, skins de al menos las ediciones del formato moderno para comenzar. Sería una forma de hacer más atractivo el juego a nuevos jugadores.

The theme was also applied to the chests in the shop, which now appear in the shape of a pumpkin with a particular design for the minor, major and ultimate chests. We will try our luck by buying 10 minor chests and 5 major chests. The first thing is that the animations remain the same, it would have been great if they had a Halloween-related animation.
También la temática se aplicó a los cofres de la tienda ahora aparecen con forma de calaza con un diseño particular para los cofres menores, mayores y ultimate. Probaremos suerte comprando 10 cofres menores y 5 mayores. Lo primero es que las animaciones siguen siendo iguales, habría sido genial que fueran con una animación relacionada a Halloween.

In short, we got a lot of potions, merits and some cards. The most notable was Thunderhoff Nomad, a golden earth class card of which we got 3 golden copies. With the large amount of merits we completed 2000 of these tokens again and decided to open an extra gladius pack. This was its content:
En resulmen obtuvimos una gran cantidad de pociones, méritos y algunas cartas. La más destacable fue Thunderhoff Nomad una carta de la clase tierra dorada del cual obtuvimos 3 copias doradas. Con la gran cantidad de méritos completamos nuevamene 2000 de estos tokens y decidimos abrir una pack gladius extra. Este fue su contenido:
2 epic cards and a rare one, it was a surprisingly good pack. I'm already at 4 copies of each of these cards to take them to level 4 and step into the gold league with these 2 epic cards at level 4.
2 cartas épicas y una rara, fue un pack sorprendentemente bueno. ya estoy a 4 copias de cada una de estas cartas para llevarlas a nivel 4 y pisar la liga de oro con estas 2 cartas epicas en nivel 4.
With this we finish this review of activities in this season that ended and also of our Brawl battles. I wanted to focus this post on the new Rebellion airdrop but they haven't put it on sale yet, but I promise to bring a review of this latest legendary summoner.
