Hello again, Splinterfam! We’ve wrapped up the second week of September, and it looks like this month is flying by—much like my summer vacation. However, over the last three weeks, I’ve made progress in several areas of the game, particularly in Frontiers, through reward packs, prize wheel Sparks, and NFTs from the Arena Vanguard event. I’ve also continued farming rewards by participating in official Splinterlands tournaments; I started competing in them three weeks ago and have been tracking my earnings week by week. So, I’d like to share an update on my progress in these areas. Let’s get started!

Hola de nuevo Splinterfam! Ya cerramos la segunda semana del mes de septiembre y por lo visto, este mes se irá en tiempo récord, como mis vacaciones de verano. Sin embargo, en estas últimas 3 semanas hemos avanzado en varios aspectos del juego, uno de ellos en Frontier, a través de los packs de recompensa, los sparks de la rueda de premios y además NFTs del evento Arena Vanguard. También hemos continuado farmeando recompensas al participar en los torneos oficiales de Splinterlands, empezamos en estos torneos hace 3 semanas y hemos dejado un registro de nuestras ganancias semana tras semana. Así que a continuación quiero compartirles una actualización de mi progreso en estos aspectos del juego. Comencemos!

Let’s begin with what I’ve earned this week from Splinterlands tournaments. I’ve been really excited since I started participating in them. First, because I had forgotten the thrill of competing in these events since the Chaos Legion era; and second, because I’ve been accumulating winnings as I improve my gameplay and climb the rankings. I’ve done all this using my own cards—without needing to rent from the market—relying entirely on cards I’ve gradually purchased, supplemented by reward cards acquired from the Glints shop.

Vamos a comenzar por lo que hemos generado esta semana con los torneos de Splinterlands, estoy muy entusiasmado desde que comencé a participar en ellos. Primero porque desde Chaos Legion había olvidado la emoción de participar en estos eventos y segundo es que he estado acumulando ganancias a medida que mejoro mi juego y escalo en los rankings. Todo ello usando mis propias cartas, sin la necesidad de alquilar cartas en el mercado, todo ha sido con las cartas que poco a poco he ido comprando, complementado con las cartas rewards que adquiero en la tienda de Glints.

Most of the tournaments available this week were in the Novice and Bronze leagues, so the SPS rewards weren't massive, but they were enough to bring me close to a total of 2,500 liquid SPS. Honestly, I didn't think I’d have time for these tournaments since I was quite busy with work last week, but I managed to make it work and participated in all of them. I still need to buy several cards to strengthen my deck—including the two legendary Archons (Fire and Earth) and all the legendary cards from the Escalation set. I hope to acquire the two legendary Archons from the Core set before the year ends, start on the Escalation ones in 2027, and—before the first quarter of the new year is over—collect all the legendary Archons from Conclave Arcana.

Esta semana la mayoría de los torneos disponibles eran en novato y bronce, por lo que no fueron tan sustanciosas estas recompensas en Sps pero fue suficiente para alcanzar casi los 2500 SPS líquidos. La verdad es que pensé que no tendría tiempo para atender estos torneos por estar bastante ocupado con mi trabajo la semana pasada pero al final me las arregle y pude participar en todos ellos. Aún me falta comprar varias cartas para fortalecer mi mazo, entre ellos los 2 arcontes legendarios de fuego, tierra y todos los legendarios del set Escalation. Espero tener los 2 arcontes legendarios del set core antes de terminar el año y comenzar con los de Escalation en 2027 y antes de terminar el primer trimestre del nuevo año, tener todos los arcontes legendarios de Conclave Arcana.

Let's look at the rewards from Lux's Favor. First off, I haven't received any cards through this channel for a month and a half. When I add that to the seven months I've gone without hitting a single jackpot in the Frontiers daily missions, I’ve pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I won't be getting any more NFTs this way. It strikes me as odd, given that the jackpot probability for daily missions was raised to 5%, but I think it's best not to expect anything from this sort of mediocre jackpot "luck." Now, regarding the wheel prizes: I’ve been spinning the wheel for 118 consecutive days, and although I’ve been racking up Sparks all week, the amounts are so paltry that the highest I managed to get was 200 Sparks—the most I’ve pulled all week.

Veamos ahora las recompensas del Favor de Lux, lo primero es que no he obtenido más cartas por esta vía desde hace mes y medio, si a esto le sumo los ya 7 meses que no saco ni un solo jackpot en las misiones diarias de Frontiers, prácticamente ya me he resignado a que no voy a sacar más NFTs por esta vía. Y me parece extraño ya que han aumentado a 5% la posibilidad de un jackpot en las misiones diarias pero creo que lo mejor es no esperar nada de esta especie de "suerte" mediocre en los jackpots. Ahora, con respecto a los premios de la rueda, he estado 118 días seguidos girando la ruleta y aunque toda esta semana he acumulado sparks, las cantidades son tan mezquinas que lo más alto que conseguí fueron 200 sparks! Lo más alto que he sacado esta semana.

Even with the measly crumbs of Sparks we received this week, we’re almost at the 58K mark, and we’ll keep accumulating them—even if they only give us femtomoles of Sparks. Honestly, it’s insulting that this is the way they reward the consistency of staying active in the game's events.

Now, I want to share what has undoubtedly been the most fun event this week: the challenges that reward us with extra Foundations cards. I recently received rewards from @culebro, @takeru255, and @bunsbagsandcaps for participating in their challenges. This has been the only effective way to get these cards, and I have to say, the challenges are quite fun. I hope to at least get all the Arena Vanguard cards up to Level 2.

Ahora quiero compartirles lo que sin duda ha sido el evento más divertido esta semana y han sido los desafíos que nos recompensan con las cartas extra de Foundations. Recientemente recibí las recompensas de @culebro, @takeru255 y @bunsbagsandcaps por participar en sus desafíos. Esta ha sido la única forma efectiva de conseguir estas cartas y debo decir que son retos bastante divertidos. Espero poder conseguir al menos que todas las cartas de Vanguard arena las pueda llevar a nivel 2.

Since I’ve resumed my teaching duties, I missed several days this week when I could have claimed my daily rewards; however, on the few days I did complete my missions, the reward packs were very rewarding. We managed to get two Epic cards and the copy of the Archon Aurelia we needed to upgrade her to level 3.

Como empecé nuevamente mis actividades docentes me perdí varios días de esta semana para sacar mis recompensas diarias, pero los poco días que completé mis misiones, los packs de recompensas fueron muy gratificantes. Conseguimos 2 cartas épicas y la copia del arconte Aurelia que nos faltaba para llevarla a nivel 3.

We also obtained three Gold cards. Now that I am truly dedicated to playing Ranked matches with my new Archons, I’m starting to appreciate the value of each victory and how to optimize the Glints and SPS I earn. Consequently, I’m beginning to aim for Gold cards to boost my victory bonuses; there are certain Foundations cards I use regularly in Modern Ranked, so I plan to gradually replace the standard versions with Gold ones—or even Black ones, if I’m lucky enough to pull one in the Monday draws.

También conseguimos 3 cartas doradas, ahora que estoy verdaderamente dedicado a jugar ranked con mis nuevos arcontes, es que comienzo apreciar el valor de cada victoria y como optimizar los glints y SPS que recibo. Por tanto estoy comenzando a intentar conseguir cartas doradas para aumentar la bonificación por victorias y hay algunas cartas Foundations que uso regularmente en el ranked moderno, así que gradualmente iré sustituyendo las versiones de estas cartas regulares por doradas o incluso negras si tengo la suerte de conseguir una en los sorteos del lunes.

This week also featured our regular round of guild battles. I took the opportunity to test out the new Legendary Archons from the Arcana Conclave, and I’ve had some truly impressive results. I frequently used Captain Frankie; his lineage ability—when used with melee unit lineups—simply changes the game. Even so, we finished third in this brawl, earning enough merits to buy four Gladius cases—let's see what we get from them.

Esta semana también tuvimos nuestro acostumbrado ciclo de batallas de gremios. Ha sido un momento que he aprovechado para testear los nuevos arcontes legendarios de conclave arcana y vaya que he tenido buenos resultados. En esta ocasión he usado con mucha frecuencia Captain Frankie que su habilidad de linaje en alineaciones de unidades cuerpo a cuerpo, simplemente cambia las reglas del juego. Aún así, quedamos de terceros al final de esta brawl, por lo que nos alcanzaron los méritos para comprar 4 Gladius cases, veamos que conseguimos de ellos.

This time, I got exactly what I was looking for: four packs containing entirely Common and Rare cards, bringing me closer to my goal of leveling up my Common Gladius cards to Level 8 and my Rares to Level 7. As I’ve mentioned in previous reports, I play in the Gold League, but my budget really only allows me to acquire cards and Archons suited for the Silver League. So, the sooner I can get these Gladius cards up to Gold League levels, the more value we’ll get out of them in brawls and tournaments.

Esta vez si obtuve lo que buscaba, 4 sobres enteramente con cartas comunes y raras, para acercarme más a la meta de llevar mis gladiadoras comunes a nivel 8 y las raras a nivel 7. Como les he comentado en reportes anteriores juego en la liga de oro y bueno en realidad mi presupuesto solo me da para comprar cartas y arcontes hasta la liga de plata, así que mientras más pronto pueda llevar estas gladiadoras a nivel de la liga de oro mejor provecho obtendremos de ellas en brawls y torneos.

Here is the status of our Common Gladiator collection: we are missing only three Common cards: Chimney Wallstop, Isgald Vorst (which is closest to reaching Level 8), and Hugo Strongsword. We still have a way to go to reach the 220-copy milestone for both Hugo and Chimney.

Nuestra colección de Gladiadoras comunes esta de la siguiente manera, solo nos faltan 3 cartas comunes: Chimney Wallstop, Isgald Vorst que es la más cercana a nivel 8 y Hugo Strongsword que junto a Chimney aun nos falta un trecho para llegar a las 220 copias de estas 2 gladiadoras.

As for the Rare Gladiators, Orella Abadon and Relenor Cleaver are just five copies away from reaching Level 7. Cutter Brieze remains a long-term challenge, as we are still missing 17 copies, though even at Level 6, the card deals significant damage in low-mana battles. Once these three cards are maxed out, I’ll be set, knowing my Gladiators are ready to be used alongside Level 5 Epic Archons.

Ahora en cuanto a las Gladiadoras raras, tenemos que Orella Abadon y Relenor Cleaver están a solo 5 copias de llegar a nivel 7, y solo tendríamos a Cutter Brieze como el desafío a largo plazo pues nos faltarían 17 copias, pero ya en ese nivel 6, hace suficiente daño en batallas de bajo mana. Una vez completadas estas 3 cartas puedo estar tranquilo porque tendré mis gladiadores listos para usarse con arcontes épicos de nivel 5.

Alright friends, that’s my update for the second week of September; we still have a long way to go before the month wraps up. Tomorrow marks the first End of Season (EoS) of the month, offering another chance to snag great rewards—whether it's a gold reward card or an extra legendary from the chests. Bien amigos, este fue por ahora mi actualización en cuanto a esta segunda semana de septiembre, aun nos falta un trecho largo para cerrar este mes. Mañana tendremos el 1er EoS del mes y será otra oportunidad para cazar buenas recompensas ya sea en alguna carta de recompensa dorada o alguna legendaria extra de los cofres.
