HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 191 - The Twelve Days of Christmas (cover) by fab-tay

Hello friends and family of Hive Open Mic Community and my fellow lovers of Music. It's a delight always to be here and welcome to my entry of Hive Openmic week 191 themed "Beautiful Pets" as announced by our wonderful and honoured spotlight artist @alex-rourke. It's a good selection to appreciate pets because they are wonderful creatures which we lived with, learn from and serves as companions with us sometimes.

Pets are animals we keep at home because they are harmless and fun to be with and I believe many of us either have pets, lived with a pet or learnt about a pet even right from childhood. Pets are beautiful creatures and easy to relate with and I love pets even as I was raised living with some of them like dogs, birds, cats etc. Pets are also caring, loyal and helpful to their owners and those they are familiar with and I think celebrating them is worthwhile.

I'm happy to share with us a cover of the song "Twelve Days of Christmas" which I have loved and learnt right from childhood and interestingly, this song had alot to do with pets as some pets are mentioned for example hens, turtledoves, partridge etc.

This song is a communication of love between two lovers using the precious gifts of some pets to express their love as pets are lovely, loyal and sincere e.g. turtledoves. Also, this song makes us to appreciate the beauty of pets and of nature especially in their natural state e.g. calling birds especially those with sonorous voices and those with beautiful feathers. This is a season of love because it's Christmas time and expressing our love for pets is a remarkable thing to do in this season even as a pet owner, a pet trainer or a pet lover/enthusiast.

So listen and let's enjoy this cover together and I believe you will be glad you do. Thank you.
