English version
I learned this recipe from my father, who loves to cook. Ever since I was a child, I remember him preparing amazing and delicious recipes. He delighted me (and still does 馃構) with healthy desserts, for which I am deeply grateful. You can tell when a meal is made with love, not only by its exquisite flavor but also by its presentation, and my dad has always paid attention to every detail.
When there is a little rice left over from lunch, we use it for breakfast the next day, turning it into a cake that we can serve with cheese, ham, or even chicken, depending on our tastes and what we have available. This recipe is very simple and saves us time in the kitchen when the clock is ticking.
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup cooked rice
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Oil
Preparation:
What I liked about this rice was that I prepared it with onion and chili peppers, so it had a delicious flavor that went perfectly with the new ingredients.
I put the rice in a bowl and stirred it with a fork to loosen it up, then added the eggs and continued mixing.
Finally, I added two tablespoons of sugar. This sweet touch reminds me of days spent at my paternal grandmother's house, as this detail is a house specialty. I have also eaten these savory cakes, so adding sweetness will depend on individual taste.
In a preheated pan, I added a little oil, just enough to grease the surface. Using a ladle, I placed the mixture over low heat, covered it, and flipped it over with the help of a plate. I repeated the process until I had three cakes.
In this case, I didn't use wheat flour, but if you want to give the mixture more consistency, you can add two tablespoons. I had a delicious breakfast today, accompanied by butter, grated white cheese, and coffee.

Ingredientes:
- 1/3 de arroz cocido
- 2 huevos
- 2 cucharadas de az煤car
- Aceite
Preparaci贸n:
Tambi茅n he comido estas torticas saladas, as铆 que adicionar dulce depender谩 del gusto de cada quien.
