“Two burgers, two hotdogs and a cone of chips!”

     “Got it!”

It had been a hectic lunch rush for Paula and Pauline’s Fried Stuff Food Wagon. Two days ago, they decided to advertise outside of a college football match and generated an extraordinary amount of goodwill by offering to feed the entire home-side after the match. Twenty cars showed up at 12:30 on a Monday, all eager to pay the favour back.

“Paula I’m really struggling.” Pauline jostled the deep-fat fryer back and forth, waiting for the first batch of chips to finally be ready. “We’ve got like 7 orders on the go, can we slow it down a little?”

“Just push through it, I’m sure they’re aware of how busy they’re making us, don't worry if we run a bit behind.” Pauline took another order from a rather rotund individual; it spilled over onto two post-it notes, and Paula quietly cursed the customer under her breath as Pauline announced it to her.

“Four hotdogs, three large chips, eight Double-Trouble burgers, two regular burgers, five sides of onion rings, six cans of coke and six fried Mars bars.”
