There was this fantasy gang in the Dawnshore region of the fantasy world presented by the Avowed video game. They were robbing, murdering, and terrorizing, but one day, on a nice and sunny day (It's always sunny in that part of the world), I killed them all.
However, this will be a surprisingly peaceful post about that bounty quest becouse taking screenshots in the midlle of an epic battle is highly frustrating and immersion-breaking. I will show you mostly images from before and after the fight. In the above picture, the opening screenshot, you can see me posing just outside the city of Paradis with lovely butterflies fluttering all around me on a nice, sunny day in a region where sunny is the only kind of weather you'll ever experience.
It doesn't look like I'm ready to go after some fantasy criminals, but that's what I was into when this serene, pastoral screenshot was taken.
Well, just like in real life, in video games too, things aren't what they seem, sometimes.
In this screenshot, you can see me approaching the gang's hideout through the ruins of an ancient stone fortress, patched with wooden planks by the bandits.
Here you can see one of those damn cuttroths patrolling the area in the distance. That was a dead bandit only a few seconds later. An extremely precise, poisonous arrow got the job done quickly, and most importantly, silently.
This is the bandit's camp. It's a relatively large, flat clearing surrounded by rocks, woods, and ancient ruins.
The bonfires continued burning after the battle, and I'm pretty sure they are some kind of magic bonfires, becouse they still burn after quite a few in-game days have passed from the event I'm talking about here.
The gang's name is kinda silly. I mean, silly isn't maybe the right word here ... it's more like, the name doesn't sound right, it sounds so bland and harmless instead of sounding edgy or threatening.
So who are these yellowbands? Just a bunch of sociopathic losers, basically, who love yellow more than any other color, if you ask me.
And, yes, they do wear yellow armbands, as you can see in the above picture.
I had to collect all those armbands to confirm the kills and get the reward.

This is some ruined building, nothing special, but even the ordinary stuff looks pretty good in this game.

I took this screenshot a second before collecting another yellow armband. A bit later ...
... in one of the decaying buildings, I found two sleepy bandits who were unaware of what had happened to their colleagues in the camp.
I killed them, of course.
The ruined litlle house was nicely decorated with mushrooms.
On the way back to the city, I stopped to photograph this colorful animal.
