Hello everyone! Zak here from Cape Town South Africa. I am adding a single model to my collection list and this is also a bit of a paint progress post.
This is the first Space Wolf that I have painted from scratch start to finish now in 2023 and the first one in about a decade! I feel old now...
I am really happy with the way this guy turned out.
As a reference - Wolf Guard are usually Elites and I could also field this model as a Wolf Guard Battle Leader and then he would cost about double in points as I am listing him here.
However, I am intending on fielding this guy with a Blood Claw pack and that is how I will add him to the list!
Here he was still all in pieces...
You can see a basic paint and layers and highlights going on. Adding detail then ties it all in.

Details and stuff coming together and I spot the mould line on the hammer quite distinctly! I needed to remove this first. So I paused here and got rid of it.
Here is one of the Blood Claws from the Pack that this Wolf Guard will lead. Blood Claw pack colors are red and yellow while Wolf Guard is black and yellow.
I have kept the design the same between them to form a unified look.
