Siempre me he sentido un poco extraña, por el hecho de no tener casi cosas favoritas, como las demás personas. En mi mente la vida, las personas, todo cambia cada día. Estamos en un constante aprendizaje. Entonces, los girasoles no son mis flores favoritas, pero aún así me gustan mucho. No hay un por qué, en específico, que me haya hecho pintarlos, simplemente me parecen hermosos.

I've always felt a bit strange, because I don't have almost any favorite things, like other people. In my mind life, people, everything changes every day. We are in a constant learning process. So, sunflowers are not my favorite flowers, but I still like them a lot. There is no specific reason why I have had them painted, I just think they are beautiful.

Para pintar el girasol primero colocamos una leve capa de amarillo muy claro. Después encima verde. Claro que no en todos los pétalos.

To paint the sunflower we first put on a light coat of very light yellow. Then we put green on top. Of course, not on all the petals.

Es necesario oscurecer los bordes para ocultar las marcas de lápiz. Lo hice con amarillo ocre y dorado, el delineado de los pétalos.

It is necessary to darken the edges to hide the pencil marks. I did it with yellow ochre and gold, the delineation of the petals.

Posteriormente el naranja para difuminar la diferencia entre tonos. Se aplica en el medio del amarillo y el ocre.

Later the orange to blur the difference between tones. It is applied in the middle of yellow and ochre.

Añadimos más amarillo canario, que es uno tono más oscuro que el anterior color. Se coloca en todo el pétalo, incluso encima del verde.

We add more canary yellow, which is a darker shade than the previous color. It is placed all over the petal, even on top of the green one.

Nótese que en el centro hay morado, naranja y amarillo, eso nos servirá de base para el marrón.

Note that in the center there is purple, orange and yellow, that will serve as a base for the brown.

Cómo vamos a oscurecer parte de los pétalos, vamos a ir mezclando el marrón y el ocre, repitiendo el proceso varias veces.

How we are going to darken part of the petals, we will be mixing the brown and the ochre, repeating the process several times.

Luego en el centro con el color marrón haremos unas líneas, dejando sin pintar algunos pequeños círculos de color amarillo y entre otros ya usados, solo faltaría delinear con negro. Esto puede repetirse. Y al final, usé un lapicero para simular unos pequeños pelitos.

Then in the center with the brown color we will make some lines, leaving unpainted some small yellow circles and among others already used, only missing outline with black. This can be repeated. And at the end, I used a pencil to simulate some little hairs.

Para las hojas, también empezamos con amarillo claro en toda la hoja. Después, pintamos de verde manzana algunas partes, que son las que irán oscuras. Dejamos unas partes amarillas sin pintar, porque será lo que de luz a nuestra hoja.

For the leaves, we also started with light yellow throughout the leaf. Then, we painted some parts in apple green, which are the ones that will be dark. We left some yellow parts unpainted, because that will give light to our leaf.

En la imagen, se ve que coloque aguamarina en el tallo. Ese mismo color, se usará encima de las partes amarillas, en las que no usamos verde manzana.

In the image, you can see that I put aquamarine on the stem. The same color will be used on top of the yellow parts, where we don't use apple green.

Para delinear, podemos usar negro y marrón, pero solo en el tallo y en el medio de la unión de las hojas. Para sus bordes debe ser verde.

To outline, we can use black and brown, but only on the stem and in the middle of the leaf junction. For its edges it must be green.

Ambos procesos, tanto el de los pétalos como el de las hojas, se repite en el dibujo. Algunos pétalos tienen un aspecto más pálido y verdoso.

Both processes, the one of the petals and the one of the leaves, are repeated in the drawing. Some petals have a paler, greenish appearance.

En este caso, primero se usa el verde para delinear. Se rellena luego con blanco en todo el pétalo. Y encima del blanco, amarillo claro, como último paso. Para no darle tanto color, sino que se vea más claro que otros pétalos.

In this case, the green is used first to delineate. It is then filled with white throughout the petal. And on top of the white, light yellow, as a last step. So as not to give it so much color, but to make it look lighter than other petals.

Para los pétalos más oscuros. El primer paso es aplicar rosado claro en todo el pétalo. Luego encima el amarillo ocre en la mitad, es de su preferencia si colocarlo en el principio o al final. Después, en el rosado se añade encima amarillo y luego blanco para matizar. Para terminar de oscurecer el ocre, se usar primero el naranja, después rojo, y por último marrón. Entiéndase que como es por capa, un color va encima de otro.

For the darker petals. The first step is to apply light pink all over the petal. Then on top the yellow ochre in the middle, it is your preference whether to place it at the beginning or at the end. Then, in the pink, add yellow on top and then white to tint. To finish darkening the ochre, use first the orange, then red, and finally brown. Understand that as it is by layer, one color goes on top of another.

Para el fondo, pulvericé tiza rosada y azul. La coloque en una tapita de refresco, y le coloque unas gotas de agua. Después usé el color blanco como pincel, y le eché esa mezcla en toda la hoja. For the background, I sprayed pink and blue chalk. Put it in a soda bottle, and put some drops of water on it. Then I used the color white as a brush, and I poured that mixture all over the leaf.
