During the process of building my house I have taken reckless decisions, but I think the most ambitious has been the one adopted today, because although the perimeter wall has not yet begun to be built and the interior of the house is still under construction I have decided to start with a planting process that seeks to take the first steps of what will be the future front garden of my house, taking advantage that I have several meters between the facade and the future wall I have been devising what will be a space full of color, where nature will be the protagonist and with it will come a fresher and more pleasant to the eye, it is for this reason that little by little I have been placing various plants so that they will adapt to the terrain and gradually be able to generate the design that I long for.

Durante el proceso de construcciones mi casa he tomado decisiones temerarias, pero creo que la más ambiciosa ha sido la adoptada el día de hoy, ya que a pesar de que aún no se ha empezado a construir el muro perimetral y el interior de la casa sigue en obras he decidido comenzar con un proceso de siembra que busca ir dando los primeros pasos de lo que será el futuro jardín frontal de mi casa, aprovechando que cuento con varios metros entre la fachada y el futuro muro he ido ideando lo que será un espacio lleno de color, en donde la naturaleza será la protagonista y con ella vendrá todo un ambiente más fresco y agradable a la vista, es por esta razón que poco a poco he ido colocando diversas plantas para que las mismas se vayan adaptando al terreno y poco a poco poder ir generando ese diseño que tanto anhelo.

The area on which I am designing the garden is a very sandy space, since the original soil was covered by several layers of filler that sought to elevate the entire terrain, is for this reason that I started a process that seeks to give that sandy substrate a contribution of vitamins and fertility, therefore I have brought soil and fertilizer from other points, to thus generate a soil capable of filtering excess water, but at the same time retains the necessary minerals to allow the proper growth and strengthening of future plants.

El área sobre la cual estoy ideando el jardín es un espacio muy arenoso, ya que la tierra original quedo tapada por varias capas de relleno que buscaban elevar a todo el terreno, es por esta razón que comencé un proceso que busca darle a ese sustrato arenoso un aporte de vitaminas y fertilidad, por lo tanto he traído tierra y abono desde otros puntos, para de esta forma generar un suelo capaz de filtrar el excedente de agua, pero que al mismo tiempo retenga los minerales necesarios para permitir el buen crecimiento y el fortalecimiento de las futuras plantas.

To give the newly planted plants more protection from the outside and to prevent the water from dragging part of the substrate I decided to place improvised barriers, with blocks and pieces of an old roof, also the two areas worked are adjacent and with a small slope, This first stage seeks to generate the conditions to gradually plant more species and generate an ideal habitat to develop a garden that combines ornamental plants with medicinal plants and some others with food purposes.

Para brindarle a las plantas recién sembradas mayor protección del exterior y para evitar que el agua arrastre parte del sustrato decidí colocar barreras improvisadas, con bloques y pedazos de un techo viejo, además las dos zonas trabajadas se encuentran adyacentes y con un pequeño desnivel, esto para aprovechar la pendiente natural del terreno y así aprovechar el agua de lluvia, esta primera etapa busca ir generando las condiciones para poco a poco ir sembrando mas especies he ir generando un habitad ideal para desarrollar al máximo un jardín que conjugue plantas ornamentales, con plantas medicinales y algunas oras con fines alimenticios.

At the moment there are two hedges, a couple of aloe vines, a palm tree and a couple of mother-in-law's milkweed, all of them have reacted quite well in the first weeks, but they are still under constant observation to take them by the hand and get good results. In addition, in my mother's house I have a kind of micro garden, where I have in more controlled conditions another pair of aloe vines, a pine tree, two hedges and other ornamental plants, all of them have been receiving constant fertilizer and vitamins, this with the purpose of strengthening them to the maximum, I hope in the future to be able to show you more advances in this subject and little by little to be giving shape to what I am sure will be a very nice garden.

Por los momentos ya en el terreno se encuentran dos setos, un par de sábilas, una palmera y un par de leguas de suegra, todas ellas han reaccionado bastante bien a las primeras semanas, pero siguen en constante observación para ir llevándolas de la mano y conseguir buenos resultados. Además, en casa de mi mamá cuento con una especie de micro jardín, en donde tengo en condiciones más controladas otro par de sábilas, un pino, dos setos y otras plantas del tipo ornamental, todas ellas han ido recibiendo constante abono y vitaminas, esto con la finalidad de irlas fortaleciendo al máximo, para que al momento de ser trasplantadas cuenten con mayores posibilidades de desarrollarse y logren soportar al cambio de habitad, espero en un futuro poderles mostrar más avances en este tema y poco a poco ir dándole forma a lo que estoy seguro que será un muy lindo jardín.
