I suspect that the witnesses and whales will end up destroying the platform in their insatiable quest for passive income. Economists refer to passive income as "rent seeking." The ruling class

The reward pool is the only reason that I am on this platform. The reword pool on Hive and #hive-engine are a bit convoluted, and few people understand the mathematics. As such they think more of the rewards

#HIVE-Engine seems to be working better today. Hopefully the witnesses are figuring the glitches that were slowing down the different tribes. As for comment rewards: I've been staking PIZZA of late. !PIZZA

I power up as I earn coins. It is foolish to miss the interest on coins just to get a badge. IMHO, the main thing HPUD accomplishes is that it reminds users that people need to power up to keep the system

An online purchase I regretted. Yeah, that mail-order bride was probably a mistake. The product was nothing like the one in the picture and it came with a mother-in-law and two kids in the old country.

Of course I've heard of Bhutane!!! Don't they make refillable lighters? The country hit bad times when Bic introduced disposable lighters. or maybe that was butane. BTW: I think that countries that lie

I am hoping for a Christmas rally. Unfortunately, I suspect that we will have a year end dip as traders take profits and prep for their taxes. I am hoping for a rally in mid January. !WINE Posted using

The amount of HBD in circulation is far more important than the amount of HBD hoarded in savings. Because of the 20% interest, HBD is the last currency that I would use for a financial transaction. Quite

Odd, where I live things are getting quieter. Cars are getting quieter, etc.. People seem to be more hushed when they converse, etc. I live near a school. Passing kids used to be quite vocal as they passed.

I sometimes buy the low value coins just to see how much interest they pay. I bought a few hundred VKBT when it was in the dumps. It pays a decent interest on most tags. The crashed HE coins often have

Thank you for the note. @leodex has been down for two weeks. I am really surprised that it took two weeks for someone in the know to make a post about the outage. The discord server on leodex didn't work

Just sending Hive to the @leodex account won´t work Many automated swaps are set up so that the transaction on the blockchain triggers the swap. Using the transaction to trigger the swap is both more secure

@leodex has been down for about two weeks. Their discord server is down. So, my guess is that the service is down for the duration. Someone is manually executing transactions. If you know the right person

Micropayments can add up. For that matter, I could see micropayments used for buying and selling ad displays or user clicks. Sadly, most of the micropayments on HIVE are nothing more than white noise.

I agree that a boycott of LEO token buying should be done also until the swap is fixed Thank you. A broken swap is more damaging to the platform than a missing logo as people lose coins with the broken

BEE has held up better than many of the alt-tokens ... even those with logos. I've been bottom feeding on the tokens for cookie cutter tribes as some of them have a decent interest rate and might come

Servingware tends to hold its value; so I am inclined to having enough dishes for a relatively large party. BTW: I live in a household established in the 1950s. So I live among numerous dishes. When I
