I am really surprised that it took two weeks for someone in the know to make a post about the outage.

The discord server on leodex didn't work when I tried it. Others complained about the same problem.

@leodex is a swap. Swaps don't run out of money. They can become unbalance.

It appears that there was a large number of people pulling funds from Hive-Engine. So they ran out of HIVE but had ample SWAP.HIVE . A few days ago they showed 0 HIVE and 5000 SWAP.HIVE.

It would be extremely easy for someone at @leodex to either complete or refund the transactions.

There seems to be more people sending SWAP.HIVE to HIVE. So, I would complete all of the transactions of people sending HIVE to SWAP.HIVE; then I would complete some of the transactions from SWAP.HIVE to HIVE and refund the rest.

I am happy to see someone with clout bringing up this issue.

I think that they should disable to "withdraw" and "deposit" buttons on leodex.io until they fix the problem as people keep using the swap.
