If I was told I would be left stranded with no cash at hand or my home, I would have laughed and then feigned interest in listening to more gibberish the person would spout out. My thought was; > *“This app is at it again with a hungry junkie news report not worth reading.”* The story became true when my colleagues at work confirmed they heard the news on television. _{This must be a joke, such a thing can’t be happening now when I am scheduled to travel some weeks later. This nonsense better be stopped before next week.} ##### Did the nonsense stop? Unfortunately, it didn’t. I was left with a sleepless night thinking about how I was going to make my trip. Was I able to make the trip? Yes, I was but I suffered greatly to withdraw the money I worked hard to get and had to pay a ridiculous amount of money called “Charges” attached to it. _{Let’s get to more gist on how I had the money collected and things that occurred after that.} It started with my phone's contact list as I became friends with every POS I went to. I collected their numbers and would give them a call every minute to know what was up. My first time boarding the train station, I made friends with some of the workers and kept in contact with them. I had to do a transfer to one of them to get tickets to board the station and kept the little change I was able to get from my POS friends after using the money to transport myself to the station. Thankfully, I was able to get to my destination and finish up with what brought me there before deciding to spend some days hunting for cash to return so that I will be able to resume back to work. Being a charmer and having this overall friendly attitude (if you like don't believe 😂), I was able to make more POS friends added to my contact list. The market women weren’t excluded too. They had to help me get cash in every way they could and I am grateful to them all as I was able to get back home. I also took the train to my place and used the little money left with me for transport. On getting back home, things were still normal… Abnormal if I may correct. Thankfully I had little food stuff to last me for some weeks so I wasn’t that bordered. Also, my colleagues love me so much that they sometimes prepare food for me. Going to work every day, excluding Saturdays and Sundays, wasn’t easy but was achievable. Thank goodness. ##### Were There Any Positive improvements In My Spending? Hell no. There wasn’t the slightest improvement in my spending as I had to do lots of transfer to get foodstuff after the ones I had almost got finished. Transferring money to Nigerian women means one thing, “Charges”. I was left with no other choice than to get foodstuff as I need food to survive. The no-cash policy wasn’t mild on me at all. It was terrible and I can’t wait for the return of cash flow to the country cos I need to travel again and I barely have airtime left to call my POS friends… Maybe I am losing my patience and may end up using some chemical content to turn me invisible, I believe @olawalium should be able to help out in this aspect. If not, I may kindly end up visiting the Central Bank Of Nigeria. Please don’t beg me not to.
