As educators, we always tell students to pay attention and take good notes during class. But sometimes, you open a student's notebook and discover a completely different world hiding between the lines!

Take a look at what I recently stumbled upon in a student's note: a full-blown, hand-drawn action comic titled "Cyborg I".

Forget standard note-taking—this student went full Hollywood action director. We are talking about high-stakes plots involving stolen hard discs, secret agents breaking into bases, dramatic axe-and-sword combat, getaway motorbikes, and classic villain dialogue. The dedication to drawing every single panel, sound effect ("ZOOM!", "AH!!!"), and speech bubble using just a blue ballpoint pen on lined notebook paper is honestly impressive.

It always makes you smile to see raw talent and creativity bursting out in unexpected places. Sure, the notes might have taken a backseat today, but who knows? We might just be looking at a future comic book artist or storyboard creator in the making!

Have you ever caught a student (or even yourself back in the day) drawing epic comics during a boring lecture? Let’s talk about it in the comments below! 👇
