Now in English:
"Every child is an artist, the problem is to remain an artist when we grow up."
Robert L. Stevenson.
Hello my people, Welcome the month of June with productivity and creativity to a million for all the great artists of this community, I start the month illustrating an appreciated Hivers and her username is @enmymente .🤗
BUT BEFORE I BEGIN, I ASK YOU THE FOLLOWING QUESTION:
Do you know who she is?
For those who don't know her (which I doubt) 😄 @enmymente is one of the main drivers and a strong promoter of the #hive platform through
@rutablockchain and other social networks, I must highlight that she is a content creator also with illustration, she's an artist! and I dared to draw her without permission, then it was that I told her...😄
The model, photo selected from her Whatsapp😊.
If I'm not mistaken, for the month of December 2021 she did an interview with me for her Tuesday night show Adventures in Hive, which she then records streaming live on Twitter, while she was asking me questions it occurred to me to draw her on the spot, a caricature, so I quickly looked for a picture of her and told her in the middle of the interview, I'm drawing you! she was very happy.😉 😄🙃
I had made the sketch but had not agreed with the delivery date, so in my free time, I was giving color and inventing every detail to the cartoon, until not long ago, we stayed several people talking at the end of one of his programs and he told me: Yen I'm going to Charallave, Let's meet! and we scheduled a tasty breakfast, which by the way you can appreciate in the Post of the dear @lisrl26 😉.
Only there was a small detail and I realized it was on June 10, I could not give him his illustration because on the back of the sheet was another beautiful drawing that I had done some time ago and I felt sorry to take it out of the block, so I decided to start again and here it is.😲🙃
MATERIALS:
- Paper (I use mostly recycling to practice) if you have your sketch pad all the better.
- Mechanical pencil with 0.5 lead or pencil.
- Eraser.
- Rapidograph or very fine tip marker: brown, black, blue, and green. All Artesco brands.
- Fine black marker No. 34, brown, No.29 red No.12, pink, light blue, and a darker one, all from Kores brand.
- Sharpie thick-tipped markers, black and brown.
- Crejones: orange, brown, yellow, blue, pink, beige, or nude, all from Paper Mate.
- Motivation!
DRAWING PROCESS:
For this second occasion I didn't make a caricature of a face but I wanted to do something more Fashion, which is what characterizes my style so I drew the guidelines to draw a stylized fashion figurine as if it was walking, and at once I captured all the ideas that came to my mind, I didn't want to waste time.🖋⏳⌚️
This is what it looks like.
On Friday night I did not want to continue so as not to strain my eyes because I did not have the light, Saturday came the day of the meeting, and I did not want to give her the drawing because it was not finished and I really felt sorry for her, but she saw it, she discovered me😁, I invited them to my workhouse and on my desk, she saw what I had captured hahaha! I still explained to her that I would finish it and give it to her as it should be, and that's how it stayed:
