Three weeks ago after a Podcast we were chatting on Discord with four friends from the hive, in my case I did not know any of them in person. In the conversation came up the area where I live, as one of the companions lives nearby and another knows, comes and travels frequently through these parts. From there the idea was born to have a small meeting and enjoy a breakfast together. The proposed date was Saturday, June 11 and it happened.
Without further ado, let me introduce 
I've been on this trip for a year and it has been a year of learning, of falling down and getting up and these kids have been with me every step of the way, that's why I was so eager to meet them and there are so many more to come.
Back to Saturday, we met at 8:30 AM to go to a place called Baywatch, I know what you are thinking... The TV series, Mitch Buchannon and women in swimsuits with spectacular silhouettes, but this time it is a small food place which has not been opened for long and is already known for its Empanadas and all its food in general.
Enmymente told me "Vamos a la Playa" for the name of the place and I replied, "Who would think of putting Baywatch to a place that sells empanadas" then I replied, "Of course, on the beach you eat empanadas ha, ha, ha, ha" here in Venezuela. The empanadas are made with the same dough as the Arepas (pre-cooked corn flour) and have a touch of sugar, they are filled with ham, cheese, meat, chicken, fish, sausage, beans, seafood, egg or whatever you want, they are closed and fried in plenty of oil and Venezuelans most of the time accompany them with a cold Malta (soda drink based on barley and hops, similar to beer, but without alcohol).
We got out of the vehicles, greeted each other with a tight hug and Enmymente took the first picture, Yenmendt had not arrived. My husband at first was only going to take me for the meeting, but in the end he stayed, he is also part of Hive, only that his obligations did not allow him to continue publishing content.
We entered the place, chose a table and ordered the empanadas, they are prepared on the spot. We all agreed to eat a beef empanada (beef, the cut is skirt steak), we only ordered one per person because they are a good size. While we were waiting for breakfast the missing girl arrived, another tight hug and a new photo.
We talked about everything, our activities outside the platform, our personal lives, Hive, in an atmosphere of extreme confidence, I really felt very comfortable, as if I had known them all my life.
They served us the empanadas and they met our expectations, they were big, with plenty of well seasoned meat and additional sauces to complement the flavor (guasacaca and tartar). We ate and talked, we could not waste time, ha, ha, ha, ha. Enmymenete and Danielvehe had another commitment to fulfill and their time was limited.
At the end of breakfast, Enmymenete recorded a short video to upload it to 3Speak, I had to be on camera for a few minutes ha, ha, ha, ha, something uncomfortable, but the occasion deserved it, I could not say no, I will see the final result later.
When we left Baywatch, Yenmendt invited us to his place of work to meet, (they have a family business) it is a big house with a beautiful patio and fruit trees like mango, parchita, mamon, among others. They also have a barbecue and we all visualized ourselves making a mega meal in a meeting with more people from Hive, I grabbed three mangoes that were on the floor, my husband did not want to climb the bush to bring down the biggest ones, it will be for the next opportunity, hoping that the mango season is not over.
Half an hour later we were saying goodbye, another picture changing location and another hug to close this wonderful meeting. It was 11:00 AM, Enmymente and Danielvehe had to continue their way.
On the way back I did nothing but talk to my husband about the nice time we shared, that I already want to set the date for another meeting and that as many Hivers as possible can attend.
That was my Saturday morning, we arrived home around 2:00 PM, we were visiting some stores looking for a budget for some products we need to buy for the home.
