Sole fish are known as Eja Abo in the southwestern part of Nigeria. Eja Abo is a slim flat fish, they are usually found at the ocean floor. They are caught using large nets that sweeps the bottom of ocean (Dermersal Trawls).
Nutritional Value
It contains low calories and fat, it is high in protein and some macronutrient like (Salenium and Vitamin B12)
Well I bought the smoked sole fish to add to my Efo-Elegusi (Bitter-leaf and melon seed soup), by the way if you haven’t tasted Efo-Elegusi (Bitter-leaf and melon seed soup) please do, and when you do don’t forget to garnish it with Eja Abo (smoked sole fish).
