Hello everyone! Here's today's Inktober post of mine. I was busy making some festival snacks today and couldn't post earlier. Then I fell asleep due to tiredness. I woke up as I slept with lights on.
The prompt for Inktober Day 23 is 'Dapper'
I actually wanted to draw the character Elijah Mikaelson from The Originals because he is the epitome of dapper but I couldn't as that will take forever for me to draw because drawing a person isn't easy. So I changed to The Boss Baby who is this baby character that also has a double life of working for Baby Corp and was actually on a secret mission. He wears suits while working. When the movie first came out, I was curious about the story and felt that it was an interesting concept after watching. So that's what I drew today.
The Process
I drew the shape of his large head first. I guess the character was designed this way because babies in real do tend to have large heads.
Then, I drew his features one by one, starting from his eyes to mouth. I even gave him some frown lines. This smirking expression is what he wears when he sees his brother after escaping from being caught of being a secret agent by their parents.
I had to pause my drawing for a long time until I drew this because my mother has prepared the flour dough for me to start making the snacks. So I did that before passing them back to her to fry. Then, I drew the cookie the baby was holding I was eager to draw as it's so cute in his tiny baby hands.
I drew his little suit. As you can see, he keeps a sleek hairstyle and wears a suit when he is working. By the way, he also had the voice of an adult went he speaks on the phone but instantly changes it to a baby voice when someone is nearby. I drew many lines trying to follow the seams of his coat so it doesn't fall flat.
This is the final outcome of my drawing. I completed it with the comfortable chair he always sits on while attending his conference meetings. I added some light pressured shadows on the chair and table, and called it done. Presenting to you, The Boss Baby. Cheers to another day of Inktober drawing.
