Hello everyone! Today I am going to share a little about a makeup that I did. It is a naturally looking makeup that appears to be 'barely there' but it still helps to accentuate the natural features without overdoing anything. The name I gave to this look is 'Pink Nude Makeup'.
This is me with my bare face. I washed my hair on the day. I have nothing on my face here. After moisturizing and priming the face, I let it set on the skin for a while and then jumped straight to the makeup process. I applied some foundation to my face and then powdered it to set the foundation. I prepped my eyes and waited for a minute before starting off with the eyeshadows.
This is the eyeshadow makeup palette I used for this look. It comes in 120 colours which comprises of a wide range of shades and it includes both matte and shimmer eyeshadows. I think palettes like these are good for those who are just starting to get into makeup and want to experiment with looks as it is very affordable. This way one can avoid spending too much before figuring out if they really do like makeup.
This is just a decent eyeshadow brush that I used.
The palette came with many pink shades but I liked this the most because it was a little shimmery and had good colour payouff.
Check out how pigmented it is! This is just a tiny quick swipe with my finger.
I put it on my eyes.
This is how it looks on both eyelids.
I wanted to add another colour at the corners and wanted them in a slight cat-eye shape. So, I cut out some washi tape strips and stuck them diagonally at the edge of my eyelids.
How funny it looks :D
The blue that I'm pointing at with my brush is the shade I selected.
This is how the colour swatch looks like.
I know the colours contrast each other but it was interesting to see how they turn out.
This is the colour I selected for the inner corners of the eyes. I think they help brighten the eyes up. It is a shimmery beige colour.
It was quite pigmented.
I looks a little too light due to the bright natural light coming through my windows but I assure you that the colours were visible in real.
I lined my eyelid with a black eyeliner.
Now it is done.
The liner is barely visible as it is a nude look but it is there.
Time for the lipstick. I used a nude pink lipstick that was very close to the natural colour of my lips.
I also did my eyebrows using a ashy brown shade.
The look is finished. This is how it looks. As you can see, the pink colours on eyes and lips are visible, as well as the subtle blue at the edge of the eyelids, along with the eyeliner.
I guess it is not bad? The look gave just the right amount of pinkish tint while still looking quite natural and light.
Thank you for dropping by and have a wonderful day ahead.
