Hello everyone! Let me share some vibrant photos of the lunch meal I had two days ago. It was during my return journey from Ipoh and we had to make this stop to eat lunch because we were heading to Batang Kali before going home. One of the restaurants I love going on the way there is located in Bukit Beruntung and it is called Full Moon Seafood Restaurant. It's a nice, comfortable restaurant with friendly staffs and is fully air conditioned so it is a nice place to dine in during a hot day.
We have ordered Chinese tea in a pot as our drink so that's the first thing they brought. I was trying to get a better picture of the pot because it had a beautiful design. On the left are the little cups we use to drink the tea in. Usually we also order a container filled with iced cubes but this restaurant is air conditioned so the drink will get cold anyway eventually so ice cubes can be skipped. The cups were immersed in hot water.
This is how the tea looks inside the pot. I just took a quick picture after removing the lid. The tea leaves were brewing and I could smell a nice aroma of the tea. I usually pour the tea for everyone when we visit such restaurants including the guest if we have invited someone along. But today I didn't because it was too far from me. I actually enjoy pouring tea like a cupbearer on Game of Thrones so I guess I'll have to wait until the next visit to do that again.
Since I couldn't pour the tea for everyone, I did this instead. I made the garlic, chilli and soy sauce condiment combo for everyone. I added a lot more for the rest of my family but this is mine, with minimal amount of chilli and garlic. I didn't want to take too much and only added what I usually consume.
Here comes the yummy fried rice. It had sliced long beans, eggs and some tiny prawns here and there. This is the amount for four people. It tasted great with their special spices and tauh. Fried rice is a great alternative to white rice if we don't order many items.
This is a side dish vegetable called baby kailan. I chose this because we were not eating vegetables during the trip. So I thought some green veggies will be good for our diet. They looked so green and I guess the chef put them in cold water immediately after hot water so the colour can be retained.
This is the final item ordered which is kamyong chicken boneless type. It was nice and not too spicy. There were many onions in it too to add to the taste.
Here are all the items put together. We didn't order a lot because we had heavy breakfast earlier. In fact, I wasn't even hungry. It was a struggle to finish the meal and I suggested that we should just tapau everything, meaning pack them into a take away home. But my family said there was too little left and joked that they might hit us with a ladle. Of course they won't, but it's probably annoying for them too. Anyway we managed to finish eating them at the end.
This is my plate. I did add more items later on after finishing this.
Thank you for dropping by and I hope that you an awesome day and lunch of course!
