WALKING ON BEBEDERO
First than all, fraternal greetings to every one at this very great and interactive community within internet. This post published by me now is related with my activities as a runner, which has become my favorite hobby. Here I tell you about my ultimmate participation in a sporting contest where one do an intense physical effort, you to sweat very much and, in general people enjoy sharing in company with other beings that, as I, they look for keeping good physical and mental condition, besides, I don’t know, I say, to increase our ego.
My best wishes for every of You!
Very good times for every one this joyful runner wishes, who is very satisfied telling about his movements at the amazing world of advancing kilometers on foot, without any mechanical implement to speed our movement.
Some days ago, specifically on November 14th, I participated in a recreational sport walking to commemorate a new anniversary of the community called Bebedero, which is located in Cumaná, my native city. This sporting event with recreative nature ( it is named like that because there are no prizes to give to contestants who arrive first to the finish line, as in absolute as in each category, male and female) was sponsored and organized by the Direction of sports of the Sucre municipality, capital region of the state of Sucre in Venezuela, of course. Really, I did not have intention to participate at this sporting activity. However, a friend of mine with whom I usually get to train in order to improve my performance, told me about such walking.
This event was not on my mine absolutely, due to I was much time without being present at this tipe of competitions. However the day before this contest, my companion Pedro and I agreed to go to the Polideportivo of Cumaná with the idea of making a 3 kilometers previous distance, before begining an 8 Km jogging (diverse rithms) in order to increase our respiratory capacity. So, we decided to ask for information at “the Poli” about the walking. An over 70 years old lady runner said to us that we could still notice our names at the competition and gave us the exact direction. Then we went jogging very slowly and, when coming to the exact place both Peter and I got to confirm our participation in that event the following day. It was 6 pm.
Then we initiated a running until our respective homes. In the route we had to detain our rithmical pace and continuing walking because… ¿don’t you imagínate why we just stopped? Well, let me to tell you: all became very dark suddenly. Yes. it's like that, there was a cut of electric current on this town section. Well, we weren’t surprised because of that deed due to the national government has been realizing pre established energy cuts from some time ago.
November 14th in the morning we arrived very early to the competition place. Organizers waited until most of the participants were there. This generated that the walking did not start on time. Finally the walking started. I delayed my walking action because someone took my right arm up from the back. When at the end I could start to walk, I was far from the head of the competition ( around 150 mts.) They were walking “¡ to million! ’” So I turned on my engines and kept an accelerated rhythm from the beginning to the end, I went surpassing rival walkers, the less quick ones very easy, but to surpass to the fastest ones who were more separated from me, including men and women, I’d to accent the speed of my pace in order to be first at their side to get to surpass them later.
Approximately at the fourth kilometer of the way I was fourth among all the walkers. The three ones ahead had a faster pace than I. At the final distance, one guy who was surpassed by me began to walk in jogging mode, so he was ahead very easy and even the judges made him warnings, that guy continued doing the same trick movement and there was no penalty for him. At the final line I arrived fifth. After the walking they gave me one banana and a half of an orange. Besides I took enough water because I was very thirsty and all in.
This way was, in short, the development and closing of this recreational and absolutely ungrateful activity in which I was in action recently.
Just below you can see some photoes of mine at the event:
This photo was taken from the main camera of 8MP in my phone, the Redmi A2.
For ending, I invite you to be active in the “running world” to make your physical and mental health better.
!Hasta la vista babies¡
¡I will be back babies!
