Poetry it is. I came across some of my poetry while flipping through my file. I smiled at them. I was like "did I really write these?" There were quite short one's but I got motivation from pictures I saw.
*Female*
SHE's female and dominated.
Carried around in a jar,
Her talents.. stifled and concealed.
Lost in the darkness, SHE struggles!
Struggles to live! Struggles to shine! Struggles to breathe!
SHE wears a smile although SHE suffers stigmatization.
SHE is female, SHE is a woman.
SHE is black, brown, fair, albino, vitiligo and SHE's above all… beautiful.
SHE harbours the pain, the strive, the dark humour, the stigmatization.
But a day would come when SHE would set herself free from the jar and all that comes with it.
SHE would explode! Shine bright SHE shall because the stars can't shine without darkness.
