In case you haven't noticed yet, the rewards had been distributed again in three segments: STEEM POWER, STEEM and SBD. But today (at least it was today that I noticed this), the current segments are only STEEM POWER and SBD.
This means: No more STEEM, at least not for now.
Both are being paid for in obviously bigger projections (and this is great, considering the appreciation of the scenario, which has been growing recently), but the STEEM stock is momentarily frozen (at least in the traditional way that we are all used to getting them). For less attentive users, this can be seen as an obstacle, but just stop and think a little bit and see that there is no obstacle.
In practice, this does not mean much because there is a redistribution in the weight of the rewards and nobody loses anything and contrary to what many people may think, this does not mean a problem (and honestly, neither should it be considered as such) because as I mentioned before, the proportions of the rewards are being higher and those who are missing STEEM just use the SBD that won and buy them.
Another option (which is a bit more drastic) is to burn the STEEM POWER (which I don't particularly recommend and I don't think it needs to be explained, right? after all, this is the fuel that moves your machine around here) and turn them directly into STEEM. But, why do that if you have the chance to keep earning more without juggling so much? Just take advantage of this new ride to continue growing around here.
These changes are common here at Steemit (in a way, maybe this is some kind of mechanism for improving the system on a broader scale and everyone ends up having to get used to them) and those who have been here for longer are already used to it, so, I think this post ends being more useful for those who are not yet aware of these changes and more broadly, as a reminder to other users.
Recommendation: Keep writing, keep posting, keep commenting, keep interacting, keep helping, keep engaging (without looking directly at the money itself, although it is inevitable to check the values sometimes... and this is something that many of us already do automatically) because this is how the "magic" will continue to happen and bring you good results and it doesn't matter how these rewards will reach you, because from all sides you win something.
