Hello everyone, I'm glad to be able to post again in this community, it's been a few weeks since I did it, but this time I come to share with you some pictures of a walk that my husband and I took around the city, I hope you like it.
Hola a todos, me alegra poder volver a publicar en esta comunidad, hace unas semanas que no lo hac铆a, pero esta vez vengo a compartirles unas fotos de un paseo que dimos por la ciudad mi esposo y yo, espero que les guste.
My beautiful city of Pinar del R铆o, it may be small but I love to walk through its streets and enjoy the urban landscape. This time the walk starts at the Independence Park, where we sat for a while to take advantage of the park's wifi to download a few things, while my husband and I took some pictures as usual. The park is located in a traffic circle and starts at the beginning of Mart铆 Street, better known by the locals as Calle Real, which is the main street of the city and the one with the most life. Around this park we can find several institutions such as an elementary school and a pre-university school, a bar, a telecommunications company, a restaurant, a dentist and others.
Mi linda ciudad de Pinar del R铆o, podr谩 ser peque帽a pero me encanta caminar por sus calles y disfrutar del paisaje urbano. En esta ocasi贸n el paseo empieza en el Parque de la Independencia, donde nos sentamos un rato para aprovechar la wifi del parque para descargar unas cositas, mientras mi esposo y yo nos tomamos algunas fotos como ya es costumbre. El parque est谩 ubicado en una rotonda y da inicio a la Calle Mart铆, m谩s conocida por los pinare帽os c贸mo la Calle Real, que es la calle principal de la ciudad y la que m谩s vida tiene. Alrededor de este parque podemos encontrar varias instituciones como una escuela primaria y otra de preuniversitario; un bar, la empresa de telecomunicaciones, un restaurante, el dentista y otras.
The purpose of the walk was to take a walk around the city and pass by the different stalls that exist in the city, where you can find a variety of products, from clothes and shoes to household items. Lately there are many of these stores in the city and we like to go and have a look.
El prop贸sito del paseo era dar una vuelta por la ciudad y pasar por los diferentes puestos de ventas que existen en la ciudad, donde puedes encontrar gran variedad de productos, desde ropa y zapatos hasta 煤tiles para el hogar. 脷ltimamente hay muchos de estos negocios en la ciudad y nos gusta ir a mirar.
As I have already shown you on other occasions in Calle Real there are many stores and private businesses and very nice buildings. Further down is the so-called Parque del Bosque, which is one of the most centrally located and where there are several activities for children and adults, usually on weekends.
C贸mo ya les he mostrado en otras ocasiones en la Calle Real hay muchas tiendas y negocios particulares y edificios muy bonitos. M谩s abajo est谩 el llamado Parque del Bosque, que es de los m谩s c茅ntricos y d贸nde hacen varias actividades para ni帽os y grandes, usualmente los fines de semana.
We saw many things and products for sale and we entered a small handicraft fair where there were beautiful things. The place was beautiful, there was a very nice statue and a small fountain where there were several turtles.
Vimos muchas cosas y productos en venta y entramos a una peque帽a feria artesanal d贸nde hab铆an cosas hermosas. El lugar estaba bello, hab铆a una estatua muy bonita y una peque帽a fuente donde hab铆an varias tortugas.
At the end of our tour we decided to go into a local restaurant, as it was time for lunch. The place is called "El Barquito" and it is small but cozy, there we ordered some pizzas and drinks and it was the perfect end of the tour.
Al terminar nuestro recorrido decidimos entrar en un restaurante local, pues ya era hora de almorzar. El lugar se llama "El Barquito" y es peque帽o pero acogedor, all铆 ordenamos unas pizzas y bebidas y fue el final perfecto del paseo.
