The subject of healthy nutrition has been analysed on virtually every side. The web is full of guides describing various diets, aimed at persuading us to maintain good form and providing slimming effect. Recently, specialists have looked at the "kitchen" causes of lack of willingness to reach for the healthy. Below are the main findings of the study.

Why do we eat unhealthy?

According to current research carried out under the name "What damages you?", People would like to eat healthily, but they are looking for excuse not to do it. The most common excuse is the lack of availability of health-friendly products in the general food cycle. This is understandable, given that we don't always find a healthy snack at hand. Not everyone has a local vegetable plant in their neighbourhood. In addition, the quality of goods in such a shop is often not satisfactory. In contrast to the problem, the availability of caloric and unhealthy products - a chocolate bar can be bought without any problem at every checkout or even at a newsstand.

People are primarily concerned about speed. A small part of us feel like visiting the green shops. We also don't want to waste energy looking for fresh vegetables and fruit on the local markets and markets. Sometimes it happens that a good, healthy snack needs to be made on our own, but few of us will decide to make a vegetable salad every day for work or for university - we lose energy and precious time.

Is people's thinking changing?

Following the results of the report, we more and more often use the term "snacks" to mean fruit and vegetables. Unfortunately, however, they are much more popular than calorific bars. Healthy food according to humans is tasty and easily available. Most of the people surveyed are aware of the harmfulness of such a diet, but are often tempted to do so simply because of their habit. It is interesting to note that 45% of the respondents feel guilty of conscience after eating an unhealthy snack, and quickly drowning the blame for the standard translations such as:"What is damaging to me? It's just one cake "or" I have to satisfy hunger quickly ". The constructive information coming from the report is a signal that something begins to change in people's thinking. This is evidenced by the low position of all kinds of fast foods, which are considered unhealthy and, as the most popular snacks, they are placed at the bottom of the rate.

Ask yourself a simple question: When did I recently consciously choose a healthy snack instead of a bar or hamburger? It may be worthwhile to think about changing the basic eating habits into healthier ones.
