Don't get me started....the new normal is one of the most disturbing descriptions that's become the catchphrase on every possible media outlet.
I'm sorry, I refuse to speak those words as I walk through stores with muzzled humans walking on taped arrows on the floor where not one person looks happy. Get in, get out, get oxygen.
What is normal about Crawford County, Pennsylvania "going green" but restaurants allowed only at half capacity and everyone is scared to live anymore? Even "green" forbids family from visiting loved ones pining away for love and contact in nursing homes... but it was OK for our Governor to send covid19 positive patients from the hospital into nursing homes where residents dropped like flies from covid19. Our most vulnerable population--- sent a death penalty.
What's normal about the mouthpiece, Secretary of Health in Pennsylvania, removing their aged mother in a Pennsylvania nursing home prior to unleashing covid19 positive patients into her nursing home but no one else being cautioned or given that right?
What is normal about all of the inconsistencies and the massive loss of employment and businesses? From a thriving economy to destitute Americans in under three short months.
The new normal is by far an increasingly destructive term dividing this nation against itself where neighbors no longer help one another, they rat on their neighbors and congratulate themselves for being better than other people. Judgement abounds more than brotherly love.
We met with family today and ate hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill and listened to my ten year old tell us how much he hates quarantine because he can't see his friends anymore. There is nothing normal about this and I will not call black white just because it's being promoted everywhere.
Wait for it. This is not the end of what we are experiencing.
