In this post, I will share my experience using Rush Townsend.

Rush Townsend

The unit from the Rebellion edition that we will discuss this time is Rush Townsend. This is probably the second time I've addressed this unit (as I recall, I discussed it before but don't remember when). Rush Townsend is a Legendary unit that belongs to the Fire unit in the REBELLION edition. Although it has low HP and ARMOR at the starting level, Rush Townsend is equipped with high SPEED and Attack power as well as 2 abilities at once.

The first ability is AMBUSH. AMBUSH is a newly introduced ability in the REBELLION edition (and maybe an ability that only units from REBELLION will have). Units that have the AMBUSH ability get a chance to attack first before the first round begins (bonus round/round zero, along with the application of all buffs or debuffs owned by each unit/summoners).

The second ability is AFFLICTION which makes the target unhealable with Healing Abilities (HEAL , TANK HEAL , and TRIAGE abilities). Even so, AFFLICTION is not a permanent debuff and can be cleared with the CLEANSE ability (or can be avoided if the target is a unit that has the IMMUNITY ability).

PIERCING which is his third ability he only has when he is level 3. PIERCING is an ability that can damage ARMOR while reducing HP if the amount of ARMOR owned by the target is lower than the Attack power possessed by the owner of this ability.

At the fourth level, Rush Townsend gains the AMPLIFY ability. AMPLIFY will only be useful if the team or in a battle there are abilities such as THORNS , MAGIC REFLECT , or RETURN FIRE abilities. AMPLIFY will amplify the damaging effect dealt by these 3 abilities.

Battle

The ruleset for this battle is SUPER SNEAK (all monsters in the arena receive an additional SNEAK ability).

The bonus round (AMBUSH) is because I'm using Rush Townsend who has the AMBUSH ability. This ability allows the owner to attack first before the first round begins. In this bonus round, Rush Townsend aimed his attack at Adelade Brightwing.

In the first round, Rush Townsend and Venari Heatsmith directed their attacks at Djinn Renova and almost took him out. Meanwhile, Countess Sinash attacked Drybone Barbarian and dealt additional damage to Iziar. Supply Runnerand Drybone Barbarian who were in RAGE mode attacked Grum Flameblade. Luckily there was Fizbo the Fabulous who healed his HP. Fizbo the Fabulous and Dalthin Ironhood attacked Jared Scar.

Iziar and Djinn Renova (who healed himself) attacked Grum Flameblade who had also just been healed. Meanwhile, Grum Flameblade failed to land his attack on Drybone Barbarian. Jared Scar aimed his attack at Venari Heatsmith but he had to take damage from Venari Heatsmith's THORNS ability amplified by AMPLIFY ability. Adelade Brightwing repairs Jared Scar's ARMOR and attacks Grum Flameblade.

In round two, Rush Townsend directed his attacks at Supply Runner. Meanwhile, Supply Runner and Drybone Barbarian* took out Grum Flameblade. Venari Heatsmith directed his attack at Iziar. Meanwhile, Countess Sinash directed her attack at Jared Scar while defeating him. The attack also dealt additional damage to Djinn Renova and instantly defeated Adelade Brightwing.

Dalthin Ironhood directed his attack and instantly defeated Djinn Renova. Fizbo the Fabulous attacked Drybone Barbarian. While Iziar attacked Fizbo the Fabulous.

In the third round, Rush Townsend attacked Drybone Barbarian. Venari Heatsmith and Countess Sinash attacked Iziar. The attacks from Countess Sinash also deal additional damage to Drybone Barbarian and Supply Runner.

Drybone Barbarian and Supply Runner defeated Fizbo the Fabulous. Meanwhile, Iziar attacked Rush Townsend who now fills the first position. Dalthin Ironhood defeated Drybone Barbarian.

In the final round, Venari Heatsmith defeated Iziar while Countess Sinash defeated Supply Runner.

Battle Review

This season, I was fortunate to be able to rent this unit (Rush Townsend) at level 4 at an affordable price. So I was able to use his maximum power in some of the battles I fought.

Even if the opponent uses TAUNT units, it is useless for units that have the SCATTERSHOT ability (which this time is given to all units by Conqueror Jacek). The high attack power of Rush Townsend can be wasted if it hits a unit that has the FORCEFIELD ability. But in this battle, there are no units that have the FORCEFIELD ability and the SCATTERSHOT ability makes the attacks of each unit in each round attack different targets.
