Greetings to the members of the #blackandwhite community. Friends, I never head out with my camera with a specific goal in mind; I truly enjoy letting the streets surprise me. My only real desire is to capture the emotions of the people moving through the city. For some time now, I’ve been practicing a particular approach: I position myself in one spot, wait for people to pass by, and then capture the moment through my lens. I always strive to be respectful when practicing street photography—I don’t want to invade anyone’s privacy. In fact, I prefer to remain unnoticed most of the time; and whenever someone does realize I’m taking their picture, I try to make them a participant—an accomplice—in that magical moment. Saludos a los miembros de la comunidad #blackandwhite. Amigos, nunca salgo con la cámara fotográfica con un propósito definido, realmente me gusta que la calle me sorprenda. Realmente solo deseo captar las emociones de las personas que transitan por la ciudad. Desde hace tiempo atrás vengo practicando un ejercicio, me sitúo en un lugar y espero que los sujetos pasen cerca de mí y capto el instante a través de mi lente. Siempre trato de ser respetuoso a la hora de realizar la fotografía callejera, no me gusta que la privacidad de las personas sea invadida, prefiero incluso pasar desapercibido la mayor parte del tiempo y casi siempre cuando alguien se percata que lo estoy fotografiando, lo hago cómplice de este momento mágico. Siempre es un placer compartir con ustedes estas experiencias.
