Greetings to the members of the #blackandwhite community. One of my favorite leisure activities on the weekends is spending long stretches of time sitting along Havana’s Malecón. The Malecón is a continuous seawall that traces the entire bayfront and part of the northern coastline, ending at the mouth of the Almendares River. This beautiful spot is often called Havana’s "giant sofa," as many people come here to sit and gaze out at the sea. Twilight is a particularly special time to experience the magic and wonderful atmosphere of the place—especially at this time of year, when the sun takes on a spectacular color and size. Saludos a los miembros de la comunidad #blackandwhite. Una de las actividades de recreo que más disfruto realizar durante los fines de semana es pasar largo tiempo sentado en el Malecón de La Habana. El Malecón es un muro continuo que delimita todo el litoral de la bahía y parte de la costa norte hasta culminar en la desembocadura del río Almendares. Este bello sitio es conocido como el "sofá gigante" de La Habana, ya que muchas personas vienen a sentarse y contemplar el mar. Un horario especial para apreciar la magia y el buen ambiente del lugar, es el anochecer, sobre todo en esta etapa del año, donde el sol tiene un color y tamaño espectacular. Hoy les regalo a ustedes una serie de fotografías callejeras tomadas durante ayer. Siempre es un placer compartir con ustedes estas experiencias.
