No había ocurrido nada malo.
Me quedé allí unos segundos.
No pide permiso.
No hace ruido.
Simplemente llega.

Hello @ladiesofhive community, once again I'm here with a new chapter of Small Things That Sustain Me.
There are days when we don't need anything extraordinary to happen in order to feel a little better.
Sometimes, a single moment is enough.
A detail so small that most people would hardly notice it.
Not long ago, I had one of those mornings when everything seemed to move a little more slowly.
Nothing bad had happened.
I simply felt tired.
The kind of tiredness that doesn't always have a clear reason but makes even the simplest tasks seem to require a little more effort.
As I walked through the house, I noticed a ray of sunlight coming through the window.
It wasn't lighting up the whole room.
It had created a small patch of light on the wall and part of the floor.
Without thinking too much about it, I walked over.
I stood there for a few seconds.
Closed my eyes.
Felt the warmth on my face and hands.
I didn't do anything else.
I didn't check my phone.
I didn't think about work.
I didn't try to organize the rest of the day.
I simply let that small piece of sunlight do its work.
And somehow, it was enough.
Not because my worries disappeared.
Nor because my responsibilities were gone.
But because, for a brief moment, I remembered that peace can also be found in the simplest things.
There is something very special about sunlight quietly entering through a window.
It doesn't ask permission.
It doesn't make any noise.
It simply arrives.
And yet, it has the ability to change the atmosphere of a room... and sometimes the mood of the person inside it.
Since then, whenever I notice one of those small patches of sunlight, I try to stop for a few seconds.
It is only a brief pause.
But it is also a reminder.
Life doesn't always give us long moments of rest.
Sometimes it offers us only a few minutes.
And it is up to us to decide whether we let them pass unnoticed or choose to fully live them.
I have discovered that you don't always have to go far away to rest.
Sometimes it is enough to stand for a moment where the light has decided to stay.
Thank you for reading.
