Hello all, here is my entry for ZapFicMonday.
She mistreated him for years, taking advantage of his love. One day, he stood up for himself and left. She was left alone, realising too late the value of his care. The memory of his mistreatment lingered, a painful reminder of the love she had lost through her own actions.
