COLOREANDO

Al momento de colorear siempre empiezo por el color base, el cual estoy acostumbrado a que sea un tono muy claro para luego ir oscureciendo donde podrían ir las sombras del mismo color y así sucesivamente.

Ya que este es un diseño blanco y negro usando un solo color para resaltar elementos y darle un toque único, debemos ser muy milimétricos con líneas finas.

En este paso vamos a delinear todo muy bien con tinta china y marcador negro como base de coloreado para algunas partes de la ropa.

Acá estoy resaltando esos pequeños detallitos que suman al diseño como lo son los bigotes y los dientes, que son los que captan más la atención.

Ya terminado el diseño he de decir, aunque me gusta mucho el resultado, aunque siempre se puede mejorar

Gorillaz es una banda virtual británica creada en 1998 por Damon Albarn y Jamie Hewlett. La banda está compuesta por cuatro miembros ficticios: 2-D, Noodle, Murdoc Niccals y Russel Hobbs. Once the main sketch was finished, we marked with India ink to create the band's signature animated effect.

After applying the outline, we erase everything so we can paint and the color doesn't get stained and carefully, so the drawing doesn't wrinkle. I secure it with masking tape (White) to prevent any movement.

COLORING

When coloring, I always start with the base color, which I'm used to using as a very light shade, then darken where the shadows of the same color might go, and so on.

Since this is a black and white design using a single color to highlight elements and give it a unique touch, we need to be very precise with fine lines.

In this step, we'll outline everything very clearly with India ink and a black marker as a coloring base for some parts of the clothing.

Here I'm highlighting those little details that add to the design, like the whiskers and teeth, which are the ones that draw the most attention.

Once the design is finished, I have to say that although I really like the result, it can always be improved.
