Since 6 years ago I know, in Merauke, Papua, venison is cheaper and easily obtained from goat meat. Even the price of a portion of sate deer almost equal to a serving of chicken satay.
Because of the rarity, we call it 'lagenda meat'. Later, this meat went on sale in Lhokseumawe Aceh Indonesia, though not every day.
