Yet again it was a brutally hot day to be outdoors and it made for a tough morning run, even if the thermometer hadn't yet reached over 100 degrees.
There was a 5km community race/walk taking place early this morning but my route along the new biking trails kept me clear of the crowds and I enjoyed the trails in peace.
It was over 85 degrees so my pace was hurting and only a bit over 11 minutes on the dirt (not too bad considering the conditions) and the rolling hills with many twists and turns kept things interesting.
