It was a nice quiet and peaceful day after Christmas to get out and enjoy life.
Slept little later than normal and got out in the road feeling good. Another sunny and relatively mild winter's day for my workout and since I was running we'll I went out onto some hilly back roads for a change and it was a fun run. Despite the weather forecasts this past week there was no snow for Christmas and probably none the rest of the year. Not that I want to have to so it through the unplowed roads but the moisture would help with the past year's drought.
Our morning visit to the dog park was especially bittersweet today since it wad sad to be there with all of our doggy friends but without my old Lab Bella. Some days I miss her badly- like today.
Hopefully she's running around in some snow with all of her friends who have also passed.
I was able to head out for my afternoon long walk before the day got too late so it was a nice strong 6 mile on the very quiet roads to bring a good close to the day.
Now to wrap up this horrible year and look towards a better and much more rewarding 2021. Have to hope for the best.
