It was a rather samp and chilly day at the hatchery but the cool conditions made for a much more out and back run through the city before my hatchery work shift.
Lulu certainly is enjoying the autumn days, especially since the area is full of squirrels and turkeys out eating the plentiful acorns thet the summer drought didn't affect (wild fruits were pretty much non-existent this year). It does take longer to finish our morning walks as Lulu has plenty of critters to stalk and chase.
My run was flat and boring but I didn't want to risk the wet and slick trails and it was nice and mellow to hit these roads.
I just hope my legs and mind are up for the hours this weekend.
