Saturday dawned cloudy and cool but no rain was in the forecast so it would be good conditions for a run.
I had thought about a long run up onto the Copper Chief Trail which branches off of the Blowout about 3 miles away and uphill.
In the end my legs didn't feel up to what would be a hard trail run so it was an out and back 10 km on the (mostly) flat roads.
The only interesting part was the loop through Old Cottonwood before heading up the long uphill back to home.
Still a good day with a couple of miles in the afternoon along the Verde River with Lulu.
