It was a great Saturday morning run as the miles were tough but my effort was rewarded with a nice long run.
Started off with a long (or so it seemed) uphill grind towards Granite Basin to hit the Prescott Circle Trail. Then it was fun up and down on the trails through the beautiful pine forest and granite formations to put in s great 10+ miles once again. My legs felt good and I wanted to make sure I put in a longer run today as we'll be on the road Sunday and Monday on a couple of dog rescues. Won't be much opportunity to get in much running either of those days.
Went out for a late afternoon walk on my local road loop, this morning's run really wad tough as my buttocks and thighs were feeling stiff and tired but 4 easy miles probably did them good to help flush out the junk from my muscles from that earlier effort.
To bed early so we can be on the road by 7 AM.
