Hello, friends, warm greetings to you all from me on behalf of this wonderful community. Wishing you all the very best as this new week begins, today I’d like to share with you another outing I had with my mum yesterday. As you’ll see, I’d gone to spend the weekend with her so she wouldn’t feel so lonely, and so the next day we’d planned to tidy up the storeroom, but it turned out the power went out and it got very dark.

Hola, amigos, por esta grandiosa comunidad reciban un gran saludo de mi parte. Deseando lo mejor para cada uno en este comienzo de esta nueva semana, hoy nuevamente quiero compartir con ustedes una salida que tuve con mi mamá el día de ayer. Como verán, había ido a pasarme el fin de semana con ella para que no se sintiera tan solita y así que al otro día teníamos pensado limpiar el depósito, pero resulta que se fue la luz y quedaba muy oscuro.
Given that, we couldn’t tidy up and clean the place, so we decided to spend the rest of the day out and about; we ended up going to Parque Costa Azul; she fancied some chicken and one of her favourites was Pollo Arturo. So we made up our minds and went to Pollo Arturos, where we each ordered a ‘super’ plate containing two pieces of chicken, salad, an arepa and a potato, plus a soft drink. So we ended up ordering that meal and sitting down to savour our generous plate in complete calm and patience.

En vista de eso, no podíamos acomodarlo y limpiarlo, así que ; decidimos agarrar el resto del día para salir, lo cual no fuimos a Parque Costa Azul; ella deseaba comer pollo y uno de los que le fascina era pollo Arturo. Así que decidimos y nos fuimos a Pollo Arturos y pedirnos cada una un plato súper que contenía dos presas de pollo, ensalada, arepita y papita más un refresco. Así que terminamos pidiendo esa comida y sentándonos a degustar con toda calma y paciencia nuestro gran plato.
My mum was delighted and happy because she’d been wanting to do this for ages. After we’d finished our meal, we went to get some barquillas from Marco Polo as well – they were absolutely delicious, really creamy and full of flavour. To be honest, we had a really lovely afternoon; we went out on the spur of the moment, and it was almost dark by the time we were back on the street, but even so, we didn’t stop enjoying ourselves. Our outing was very pleasant; she came home feeling very happy. Well, my friend, I’ll say goodbye for now; thank you all for reading.

Mi mamá, fascinada y feliz porque lo deseaba desde hace tiempo. Después que terminamos nuestra comida, nos fuimos por una barquilla también de allí de Marco Polo, que estaban riquísimas, muy cremosas y sabrosas. La verdad, pasamos una tarde bastante chévere; salimos sin pensarlo mucho, se nos hizo casi de noche en la calle, pero aun así no dejamos de disfrutar. Nuestra salida fue muy agradable; ella regresó muy contenta a la casa. Bueno, amigo, me despido de ustedes; gracias a todos por leer.
