Last Saturday, I visited Tropicana Mall in Uyo with
some of my friends to watch a horror movie. We were all excited because we had heard that the movie was extremely frightening.
When we entered the cinema, the hall was dark, and the air conditioner made the place very cold. We bought popcorn and drinks before taking our seats. Shortly after, the movie began.
The movie was about a mysterious woman who appeared in an abandoned house at midnight. Suddenly, a strange sound came from the speakers, and everyone in the cinema became silent. Without warning, a frightening face appeared on the screen. I screamed loudly and spilled my popcorn on the floor.
My friend sitting beside me held my hand tightly. At another point, a ghost suddenly appeared behind a young man in the movie. Everybody shouted in fear. Some people covered their eyes, while others laughed nervously.
The scariest moment was when the lights suddenly went off for a few seconds. I thought something terrible had happened. My heart was beating very fast, and I wished the movie would end immediately.
Finally, the movie ended, and the lights came on. Everybody began discussing the frightening scenes. Although I enjoyed the experience, I promised myself never to watch such a scary movie again.
It was truly an unforgettable experience at Tropicana Mall, Uyo.
