I'll be heading down to the market today to find one item and one item only, I swear I've been to the grocery store way too much lately. The one item I'm looking for is a muffaletta olive spread. It's going to go well with my pita wraps.
Muffaletta consists of, black olives, green olives, celery, capers, red bell peppers, garlic, olive oil, oregano, dried basil, and red pepper flakes. It comes together almost as a paste, a sticky type of texture.
I'll be using prosciutto, gouda, feta, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and the muffaletta spread. If I can't find it I'll use a basic salad dressing like balsamic. I've also thought about possibly buying a jar of pepperoncinis. Need to spice it up a bit!
