When someone offered you an opportunity that you can possibly monetize your work are you going to jump in and join the fray or just let it pass?
This has been one of the main issues that I have being an onboarder, especially onboarding friends that I do know of personally and virtually. Some joined and created their introduction post, some created an account but never posted nor commented anything and some just never even bother to do so.
I am hands-on with the people that I have invited to join here. From day 1 until the time that I think that they can go ahead and swim on their own to the vast ocean called Hive. There are times wherein I do some video calls and webinars to make sure that the first few steps will be a smooth sail as we all know Hive is too complex, especially for beginners.

Some show up, creating daily, bi-weekly, and sometimes weekly posts but for the majority of the people that I had onboarded. After one post, they will be gone in the wind.
Each time that an onboarded one, ghosted the platform, is there anything that I can do to help with the experience further and even ask what seems to be going on?
I stopped onboarding folks for a while, conducting webinars, and sharing Hive because I felt that everything is rubbish.
I joined a different platform, for the sake of staying away from my usual posting and probably reaching a new audience too as Filipinos in Hive aren't that active anymore. I also my abandoned Facebook Page and to my surprise, someone sent me a message there asking what is Hive and how to join.
Out of being nice I offered a video discussion and he agreed after that session I asked him to create an introduction draft to see if he will be joining or not. I myself, don't expect that much as I am so used to it, and investing too much time isn't on my plate anymore.
After that and with the help of everyone from 
Fast-forward, he created an intro post and then still continues on creating content till now.
Some already won contest from different communities, as I get notification from the bot in any mentions that they are receiving / post that they will do in the chain. Can't be more prouder that I become a part of the journey.
I am excited on how they are going to perform well in the future and at the back of my mind I hope that they will be passing the baton to others too.
But then again, I just keep my hopes for myself for now. Their journey will be different and everyone have their own pacing here. Hopefully the passion and perseverance will be there not only this bear market but also in the coming years to come.
I have titled this post Second Wind as I felt that a new energy has been given to me with all of the achievements that the onboarded people are right now.
