Hi, my dear Wednesday walkers!
I haven't been in this wonderful community for a long time. The whole problem was the weather! Endless rains just locked us at home! By the way, it's raining again now! To be honest, I was already desperate and was ready to admit that this year there would be no traditional autumn photo shoot on Stary Pond. But then the weather gave us two sunny days! Of course I immediately went to shoot!
Here everything is the same and everything is new. The old peace and quiet and the new autumn decoration of the park and the surrounding forest. Actually, the park itself is part of the forest. I don’t know who came up with this, but it’s like an oasis in the desert, a tiny piece of civilization among centuries-old pine trees.
Reflections of bright autumn trees in the surface of the water are always a separate object of my photo hunt here. Reflections are a separate topic. There is always something mystical about them. Ultimately, what is the truth? Perhaps it all depends on the point of view. Perhaps the reflections look back at us the same way we look at them. It's fascinating and a little creepy.
Gazebos, wooden benches, tables in the middle of a real forest. Here you can sit, work, drink coffee. Who likes what. There are usually few people here (although this can be a misleading impression due to the fairly large area).
Of course, whoever created this project did an excellent job. Modern conveniences do not disturb the pristine nature. The privacy of the individual small houses is ensured by the surrounding trees. Relaxing here, you are simultaneously in the forest and in the heart of civilization.
And I want to pay special attention to these two photographs. It really turned out funny. I said that how much I look at these strange logs and I сan’t I understand what this is? Such a strange crocodile?
“You’re looking from the wrong side,” my friend answered, - “These are owls”.
“Owls? So you're saying that all this time I've been making pics of owls' asses?” - an epiphany descended on me. That’s right,” my friend answered.
