Our ideas about animal relationships are often based on patterns. One of them says that dogs and cats are always enemies. That's far from being the case. Like humans, animals have different characters, which affects their relationships with other animals. Someone is friends, someone is hostile, someone is completely indifferent to each other, and someone is so sad if the other leave it for five minutes.
My dog Happiness loves cats. She is ready to babysit kittens or take care of adult cats. Cats adore her. The only threat to kittens from Happiness is that they will be licked all the time, because she fanatically cares about their hygiene.😁
