Una introducción necesaria
El encuentro de hoy no lo fue menos y, aunque no definía nada porque la vuelta se juega en el terreno del Barcelona y será donde se defina el otro finalista, para los dos contrincantes si definía y mucho. Para el Barcelona la posibilidad de dar un golpe de autoridad y salir de su racha perdedora y para el Madrid tratar de hundir al Barcelona luego de su salida de Europa y el no poder liquidar la liga en la última jornada.
No fue ni mucho menos el mejor de los encuentros que han efectuado estos equipos a lo largo de toda su historia ni fue un partido muy vistoso futbolísticamente hablando, pero los equipos lucharon con las armas que tenían y en opinión de este autor más allá del resultado el Barcelona mostró más carácter y jerarquía, a partir de las ausencias que tuvo, el reajuste que tuvo que hacer en su estrategia de juego y por jugar en el estadio de su rival.

La previa de este encuentro estuvo matizada por varios elementos de interés que valen la pena indicar:
•El Barcelona triunfó en el último encuentro escenificado entre ambos equipos y no fue una victoria cualquiera porque derrotó al Real Madrid en la final de la Súper Copa de España.
•En el último partido de liga el equipo blanco venció al azulgrana.
•El Barcelona se despidió de Europa y tiene en la liga y en la copa sus posibilidades de alcanzar una temporada aceptable.
•El Real Madrid la tiene muy complicada en liga, pero sigue bien en la Liga de Campeones y ganó el Mundial de Clubes. Esta competición puede representar, de ganarla, algo positivo en su objetivo de tener una buena temporada (Si logra ganar la Champions)
•El Barcelona ha perdido sus dos últimos encuentros, pues en la Europa League fue eliminado por el Manchester United y en la liga perdió con uno de los clubes que están al final de la tabla.
•El Madrid tiene una victoria y una derrota en sus dos últimas presentaciones. La sonrisa la alcanzó en la Liga de Campeones contra el Liverpool y el empate fue en la liga contra el Atlético.
Alineaciones
Para este encuentro los dos equipos tuvieron a jugadores que no fueron convocados por estar lesionados y se perdieron el clásico, pero el Barcelona se ve más perjudicado al tener a jugadores de su plantilla regular que no podrán formar parte del esquema táctico de Xavi Hernández, sobre todo en el frente de ataque al no poder contar con Lewandoski ni a Dembelé y no tener al cerebro del centro del campo Pedri. Pero esto es un clásico y los equipos lo afrontan con un plus adicional.
En el caso del Real Madrid su mayor incógnita será su defensa lateral izquierda, pues tiene a Ferland Mendy y a David Alaba lesionados, por lo que tendrá que improvisar con Nacho; toda vez que Ancelotti prefiere tener a Camavinga de pivote que en esa área del campo.
A pesar de las ausencias, ambos equipos salen con equipos competitivos. Veamos:

Primer tiempo

Varios elementos interesantes se presentaron en este primer tiempo que hacían presagiar un cambio de estrategia de ambos técnicos, pues contrario a lo que nos tiene acostumbrado el Barcelona, no tuvo ese dominio excesivo del balón y se mantuvo defendiendo muy bien en la última línea, para evitar los embates del Real Madrid.
De igual manera se escenificaron duelos interesantes por cada uno de los laterales en los que los dos atacantes (ambos brasileños) tuvieron luchas interesantes, pues Araujo persiguió por toda la cancha a Vinicius Jr. y le hizo un marcaje exacto; mientras que Raphiña sintió la marca permanente de Nacho por el otro extremo.
En el tiempo hubo dominio alterno con un Madrid, en ocasiones teniendo posesiones largas y un Barcelona apretando al rival tanto en la salida de estos, como en los balones que llegaban a línea defensiva o al portero Courtois, para ver si podían marcar algún gol producto de estas acciones.
A pesar de no jugar su mejor fútbol ni tener continuidad en su juego combinativo el Madrid logró crear algunas jugadas de peligro, como la del minuto 1 o el gol anulado a Benzema por fuera de juego. Sin embargo, el único gol del primer tiempo llegó gracias a un gol en propia puerta del Militao.
El partido continuó con la misma dinámica y con más ganas que fútbol el Madrid lo intentaba, pero el Barca fiel a su estilo adivinaba la previsibilidad de un rival que no lograba hacerle daño al rival y terminaba debajo del primer tiempo.
Mucho tendría que mejorar el Real Madrid si quería empatar y revertir el resultado adverso que tenía.
Segundo tiempo
En un tramo importante del tiempo el Madrid dominó el partido, tuvo control del balón, intentó empatar el marcador por medio de sus dos delanteros, pero en ocasiones faltó el último pase, no hubo puntería de cara a la puerta rival, en otro el equipo no tuvo la continuidad necesaria, para llegar al área de peligro del Barca con otra fórmula que no fuera enviando centros al área o se topó con una muralla defensiva que el equipo azulgrana supo situar en la cancha, para contrarrestar sus carencias ofensivas.
Cuando terminaron los cinco minutos adicionales el marcador exhibió un resultado que más allá de lo sucedido en la cancha tiene el mayor mérito para el Barcelona porque en su campo y con sus artilleros recuperados será un rival muy difícil para un Madrid que al parecer no está hecho para este torneo.
Una reflexión final

Ha culminado la Batalla del Bernabéu y el gran victorioso fue el equipo de Barcelona, no sólo el autor expone este criterio por la victoria, sino porque logró cambiar la dinámica perdedora que traía, por las piezas que les faltaron en el terreno de juego y por lograr la victoria contra su archirrival y único equipo español que está vivo en la Liga de Campeones.
En cuanto al juego tácticamente Xavi le ganó la partida a Ancelotti y más allá del cambio obligado en su estrategia de ataque supo defenderse del ataque rival, fue solidario en ataque y pudo aguantar los ataques de Vinicius Jr. a través de Araujo y en ocasiones recibiendo este ayuda, para evitar que el brasileño le hiciera daño al rival. En cuanto al Madrid nuevamente pasa lo que una y otra vez hemos venido explicando y es los problemas que tiene el equipo en ataque.
¿Será que el Real Madrid conecta el chip en la Liga de Campeones y que sólo esta competición le hace sacar su mejor versión?
De momento, el equipo blanco está a noventa minutos de volver a perder la posibilidad de alzar este trofeo. ¿Está definida la semifinal? Pienso que no, pero de lo que sí estoy seguro es que mucho tendrá que mejorar el Real Madrid si quiere discutir la final y levantar La Copa del Rey de España.

For this match both teams had players who were not called up due to injury and missed the classic, but Barcelona is more disadvantaged by having players from their regular squad who will not be part of the tactical scheme of Xavi Hernandez, especially in the attacking front by not being able to count on Lewandoski or Dembele and not having the midfield mastermind Pedri. But this is a classic and the teams face it with an additional plus.
In the case of Real Madrid, their biggest question mark will be their left back, as they have Ferland Mendy and David Alaba injured, so they will have to improvise with Nacho, as Ancelotti prefers to have Camavinga as a pivot than in that area of the field.

Likewise, there were interesting duels on each of the sides in which the two attackers (both Brazilians) had interesting fights, as Araujo chased Vinicius Jr. all over the pitch and marked him exactly; while Raphiña felt the permanent mark of Nacho on the other end.
In the half there was alternating dominance with Madrid, at times having long possessions and Barcelona pressing the rival both in the exit of these, as well as in the balls that reached the defensive line or the goalkeeper Courtois, to see if they could score a goal as a result of these actions.
Despite not playing their best soccer or having continuity in their combinative play, Madrid managed to create some dangerous plays, such as the one in the first minute or the goal disallowed to Benzema for offside. However, the only goal of the first half came thanks to an own goal by Militao.
The match continued with the same dynamic and with more desire than soccer Madrid tried, but Barca, faithful to their style, guessed the predictability of an opponent who could not hurt them and finished below the first half.
Real Madrid would have to improve a lot if they wanted to equalize and reverse the adverse result they had.
Second half
In an important part of the second half, Madrid dominated the game, had control of the ball, tried to tie the score through their two strikers, but sometimes lacked the last pass, there was no aim in front of the rival goal, in others the team did not have the necessary continuity to reach Barca's danger area with any other formula than sending crosses into the area or ran into a defensive wall that the blue and white team knew how to place on the field to counteract their offensive deficiencies.

The Battle of the Bernabeu has culminated and the great victor was the Barcelona team, not only because of the victory, but also because they managed to change the losing dynamic they had been experiencing, because of the pieces they lacked on the field and for achieving the victory against their arch-rivals and the only Spanish team still alive in the Champions League.
As for the game, tactically Xavi won the game against Ancelotti and beyond the forced change in his attacking strategy, he was able to defend against the rival attack, was solid in attack and was able to withstand the attacks of Vinicius Jr. through Araujo and sometimes receiving help from him, to prevent the Brazilian from hurting the opponent.
