This afternoon, on my way to the northern part of Pekalongan, I found a coffee place that my friend said was very famous and always full of customers. When I asked my friend why the cafe was always crowded, because the coffee was pretty good and there were lots of spaces and it was comfortable. Out of curiosity, finally my friend and I decided to enter.
CANDU
CANDU has the meaning of something that causes you to want to repeat it continuously (addict). Maybe the intention of the owner of this cafe is that visitors who have been here will keep coming back to hang out here. Hm... unique and hopeful from the name, right?
The initial space from the entrance is outdoor space that is not too wide, only a few sets of tables are placed on the outside in front of this.
After that, the room that functions as a place for ordering and a barista table is displayed separately. Because the shape of the room tends to be elongated to resemble an aisle, the gap between the ordering table and the barista table is used as a door for employees to enter behind the table.
At the far right of this room, also provided at least two sets of tables with comfortable chairs without backrest sofa. Next to the living room, with a fairly low door partition, there is also a sofa sitting area with a backrest. This is a room with air conditioner, so it is not recommended for visitors who smoke.
However, the Candu cafe is truly beautiful. With a wide wall and glass divider, next to the AC room there is an outdoor space at the back and there is also a second floor. Both of these rooms are designed with natural nuances. With a floor made of cement and stone, and the trees around it make this space very beautiful and feel serene in the afternoon.
Second Floor Space
Dominated by blue and white colors, Candu Café gives off a friendly and calm vibe. A white iron with a handle painted blue attached to the wall connects to the second floor.
Table sets with round chairs without backs are neatly arranged on the left and right.
This cafe will be very crowded after work hours and also on weekends. Luckily I went there when the cafe wasn't too full so I could take some great photos. LOL,.
Black Espresso Based From Candu
At first I wanted to order siganature coffee from the Candu cafe, but there was no type without milk or cream, so I finally chose Ice Black Esspresso Based.
With a price of 15000 rupiah, I can enjoy a delicious espresso. Even with ice, the coffee I ordered still felt bold on my tongue. I always like coffee which tastes quite strong.
Candu does not only provide coffee, there are other menus such as: Manual Brew which provides brewed coffee and V60. Then there are non-coffee drinks, such as: dark choco, choco hazelnut and other chocolate preparations. Refresher menu, including: Honey Lemonade, Hibiscuss Fizz, Lychee tea, and Black Citrus.
Apart from drinks, Candu also provides cake and bakery, Rice Bowl, Savory snacks, burgers, sweet snacks, and a variety of french fries.
So complete right?
I now understand what makes this cafe such a favorite place among young people, because it's a comfortable, beautiful place, a complete menu, as well as friendly and pleasant service.
Candu Coffee and Space is open from 10.00 am to 11.30 pm every day. Rarely are cafes in Peklongan open until late. Usually the curfew used by cafes in this area is until 10.00 pm.
