La Trappe is one of twelve Trappist beers in the world.
It is brewed in the Netherlands in the Notre-Dame de Koningshoeven Abbey (in Dutch: Onze Lieve Vrouw van Koningshoeven) near Tilburg.
Of the Trappist beers, eleven bear the Authentic trappist product logo on the label and there is another Dutch Trappist beer that is Zundert.
