Here we are now on Rue Ravignan, where you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Paris. It’s an excellent starting point to understand the neighborhood’s elevated position over the city. As we continue, we come across the Bateau-Lavoir, an iconic site of early 20th-century artistic creation, frequented by artists such as Picasso and Modigliani. It’s a key location to explore Montmartre’s artistic history. Our walk then takes us to the Moulin de la Galette, one of the last remaining windmills in the area, now a symbol of the neighborhood’s village heritage. Next, we walk up Rue de l’Abreuvoir, one of the most picturesque streets in Montmartre. Here stands a 17th-century house at number 4, completely covered in ivy. It perfectly represents the authenticity and charm of old Montmartre. And of course, we stop for a few minutes in front of the Maison Rose, made famous by Maurice Utrillo’s paintings. This pastel-colored facade is one of the most photographed spots in the neighborhood and reflects its artistic atmosphere.

Nous voici maintenant dans la rue Ravignan, d'où l’on profite d’un très beau panorama sur Paris. C’est un excellent point d’entrée pour comprendre la position dominante du quartier sur la ville. En poursuivant, on découvre le Bateau-Lavoir, lieu emblématique de la création artistique du début du XX^ème siècle, fréquenté notamment par Picasso ou Modigliani. C’est un site clé pour évoquer l’histoire artistique de Montmartre. Notre balade continue vers le Moulin de la Galette, l’un des derniers moulins encore visibles dans le quartier, devenu un symbole de son héritage villageois. On remonte ensuite la rue de l’Abreuvoir, l’une des plus pittoresques de Montmartre. On y trouve une maison du XVII^ème siècle entièrement recouverte de lierre, située au numéro 4. Elle représente particulièrement bien l’authenticité et le charme du vieux Montmartre. Et comment ne pas s'arrêter quelques minutes devant la Maison Rose, rendue célèbre par les tableaux de Maurice Utrillo.
