I have a nice and buttery apple cake recipe to share today. The boys in the house live it big time. The cake is even better the next day when flavor seeped into the cake, yum!
I love using golden apples for this specific cake. If you cannot find golden apples, others would work as well, but seriously, golden apples would be the perfect one to use 馃槉
6 golden apples
2-3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
A pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice powder
205 g unsalted butter
3/4 c sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
450 g strong bakers flour
1 tbsp BP
A pinch of coarse Kosher salt
